SP Jain School of Global Management UG Admissions 2023

The institute offers BBA, BBC, BEC and Bachelor of Data Science programs. BBA is a 4-year program and BBC, BEC and Bachelor of Data Science are 3-year programs. Candidate must have passed class 12^th with 70% marks and have studied in English medium. Candidates who have not studied English have to possess a valid score in the English Proficiency test. The scores needed by the candidate in the English test are given below:

Candidates need to appear for SPJET or have a valid SAT/ACT score for the screening process.

For the BDS program, the institute accepts SAT scores of 1200 and above, ACT scores of 23 and above, IIT-JEE scores of 70 and above.

SP Jain School of Global Management MBA & GMBA Admissions 2023

SP Jain School of Global Management offers full-time GMBA and MGB programs and a part-time Executive MBA program. The duration of GMBA is 12 months, MGB is 16 months (including a 4-month internship) and Executive MBA is 18 months. The institute also offers MAIB programs with a duration of 2 years. The eligibility required for admission is as follows

Bachelor’s degree: You must already be a university graduate to apply. Applicants who do not have their final year results can apply for the intake but SP Jain Global can only make a conditional offer.
Work experience: Applicants must have 3+ years of full-time work experience (for GMBA) and 0-3 years of full-time work experience (for MGB).
Consulting Management specialization Eligibility: To qualify for the Consulting Management specialization, applicants must meet at least one of the following three entry requirements:
8 years (minimum) of Full-time work Experience in a single domain
3 years (minimum) of Full-time work experience as a Consultant in a Consultancy firm
GMAT score of 650 or CAT score of 80 or GRE score of 315.
For Executive MBA, all applicants (domestic and international) will have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university or other approved tertiary institution. Applicants who do not have their final year results can apply for the intake, but SP Jain can only make a conditional offer.
The candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
For MAIB, all applicants must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university or other approved tertiary institution which includes satisfactory completion of at least four units of Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Science or another quantitative discipline.

SP Jain School of Global Management Evaluation and Interview Process

The evaluation and interview process of S P Jain School of Global Management comprises of following rounds:

A business creativity test (duration: 20 minutes)
Essay and case study discussion (duration: 60 minutes)
Personal Interview

English language proficiency

An English Language Proficiency Score (ELPS) is a mandatory requirement for a student to obtain an Australian visa. The same must be submitted on being offered admission and prior to the course commencement. Acceptable scores* are as follows:

Selection Criteria: For Executive MBA, the candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in GMAT, GRE, GMAC Executive Assessment, CAT or SPJAT.

SP Jain School of Global Management PG Partnership Program 2023

SPJSGM also offers a Master in Global Luxury Management (MGLuxM), a 12 months program accredited by Politecnico di Milano and the degree is approved and recognized by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) (Italy). For this course, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. The eligibility criteria for the same is:

MGLuxM Eligibility Criteria

Graduates with at least a bachelor’s degree of three years from a recognized university in India or abroad.
Students who have an aptitude and appetite to work in the luxury space.
The program will be taught in English. Hence, an adequate level of proficiency in English and good written and spoken communication skills are a must.
Students must also be able to display leadership and managerial skills and be willing to meet the demands of a rigorous master’s degree.

MGLuxM Selection Criteria

The candidates will be shortlisted based on several criteria, including past academic performance, work experience (if any), and other information provided to us. Usually, this process takes up to 5 working days.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for further evaluation (Evaluation Fee of 100 Euros to be paid before the evaluation).
As part of the evaluation process, you will have to give a written and personal interview.
A verification process will be conducted by MIP Politecnico for candidates who have been selected for admission to the program.
On successful verification, an offer is made within 10 working days.
Candidates must confirm their acceptance within 2 weeks of receiving the offer by paying the Registration Fee.

SP Jain School of Global Management Ph.D Admissions 2023

SP Jain’s Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a 3-year doctoral program designed to meet the needs of high-achieving professionals who wish to enhance their business education through original research. The program can be completed in three years full-time, or part-time in an equivalent period, and you can opt to study online or at the campus in Sydney.

SPJSGM DBA Eligibility

Applicants are required to fulfill one of the following academic eligibility requirements to be eligible for admissions:

Postgraduate degree (by Research) in the field of “Business” or related discipline from a recognized university or other approved tertiary institution; or
Postgraduate degree (by Coursework) in the field of “Business” or related discipline from a recognized university or other approved tertiary institution, and at least 5 years of managerial level professional work experience.
The applicants will need to produce evidence of having worked on a full-time basis in a managerial role for a minimum of 5 years.
Applicants who have not completed their most recent education qualifications in English are required to take any of the following recognized formal English language tests and obtain currently valid minimum scores as below:
- IELTS (Academic version): 6.5 overall scores, minimum 6.0 in each subtest.
- TOEFL internet-based: Total 89 score, writing 22 and all other subtests 18.
- Pearson Test of English: 60 (minimum) with no section score less than 50.
International applicants (including those who have completed their most recent education qualifications in English) who are undertaking study at our Sydney campus may need to meet the English Language test requirements detailed by the Australian government to obtain their student visas.

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected based on:
- Past academic performance and other achievements;
- Past work experience; and

As part of the final stage of applicant evaluation, all shortlisted applicants will be required to take an interview with a selection panel. The interview is designed to assess subject knowledge, verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills and ability, tenacity to undertake substantial research and contribute to the body of knowledge in the field of business and management.
Applicants are emailed an admission decision approximately a week after evaluations.

SP Jain School of Global Management Application Process

Application to the MBA/GMBA course offered by the SP Jain School of Global Management is made online. Students with a valid GMAT/GRE/CAT/SPJAT score can apply on the university website. Candidates can apply to the institute by following the given procedure:

1. Visit https://www.spjain.org/apply-now and select the required program.

2. Register yourself by providing correct email and other required credentials.

3. After successful registration candidates will receive a confirmation mail informing username and password.

4. Log in with these new credentials, provide all required documents and pay the application fee of USD 70. Further, to complete the process click on the ‘submit’ button.

5. After successful submission of the form ‘The Admissions Committee’ will carefully review students’ application, aptitude test scores and supporting documents provided. If shortlisted, they will be invited for further evaluation and interviews.

6. After the successful completion of the candidate’s application evaluation and screening round he/she will be informed about the status of his application i.e. offer, waitlist, reject, within 5 days of the interview.

There is a major difference between the 2 B Schools, SPJIMR and SP Jain. The former is an Australian B School with 4 campuses in Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, and Sydney whereas the latter is a Management Institute offering Management courses at its only campus in Mumbai.

Although Mumbai has a variety of decent B Schools to choose from, my brother chose SP Jain for EMBA. He had a list of criteria he looked for in his dream B School and according to him, SP Jain fulfilled it all. Some of his major requisites were

A disciplined course
A well-structured curriculum program
A good range of electives
Gives value to professional commitments
A certain level of flexibility along with discipline
Global reach of faculties
Excellent clubs and groups
A B School that listens to its students and cooperates with them

He found all these features in SP Jain and was very glad he chose it. In fact, through his Executive MBA, he claimed to have got an insight into the business world and see how businesses in other sectors survive. He believes to have developed a more holistic view post this program. Professionally too, he is doing pretty well and the program has helped him gain success.

No matter which B School you choose, PGP is always a better choice than ABM. But there might be a specific reason why you got an ABM offer rather than a PGP. But at IIM Lucknow, students of both programs are offered equal opportunities. These include final placements. summer placements and subsequent PPOs.

The major drawback of ABM is that you are deprived of the PGP electives and can cover ABM electives only. These electives cover strategy marketing and operations.

Talking about your offer from SP JAIN for IM, let me tell you that in this regard, IIM Shillong is a much better choice. Its campus in Dubai is a testament to its worth.
