Campus Life:

ENVA is the college fest's name and it is good but for the university fest which is ANUGOONJ that is amazing. College fest is conducted in the month of April and university fest can be in the month of February or March. There are lots of books in the library but all of them are not useful. And the useful ones get issued fast. The old building classroom does have ac or any good type of light system but the new buildings of law and MBA are fully air-conditioned. Yeah, the campus do sports meet and programs dor like football, tug of war, and many games activities. And there are many clubs in our college but most of them are just unnecessary but some are useful like dance club, NSS, photography club, csi club.

Annual fest (Anugoonj) held by GGSIPU University was very fascinating and enjoyable. Anugoonj was conducted in March 2023 for three days. Tech fest are also conducted regularly by the University. Books and Journals are available in good amount in college library. In my college there are 0 sports activities held whereas talking about extra curricular activities many activities are held in college societies. There are many societies in my college like, NSI-MSI, CSI-MSI, Innovision-Photography Society, Meraki, Natraj-The Dance Society, Advertere-The Marketing Society, ECell, Rekkt-The Gaming Society, etc.

Social life is quite good at Maharaja Surajmal, and the environment is also very good, but there is some strictness regarding bunking and roaming unnecessary in college. I mean they will ask you to either go to classes or if they have ended go to your home.

Campus Life:

The campus life at GGSIPU is vibrant and engaging, with ample opportunities for students to participate in social events and extracurricular activities. The university organizes several events throughout the year, including an annual cultural fest called 'Anugoonj' in February and a tech fest called 'Techsurge' in March. These events provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and connect with their peers from different departments. The university library is well-equipped, with a vast collection of books, journals, and online resources. The library is accessible to all students and provides a peaceful and conducive environment for studying. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern amenities such as projectors, whiteboards, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The university also provides access to online learning platforms and software tools to facilitate the learning process.

Campus Life:

The annual fest is usually conducted by the Prakriti society called Adios usually on 29 Dec or 30 Dec. Ethnic days are also organized on various festivals, the biggest one being held on Diwali. Prakriti and NSS MSI are the biggest societies that organize almost all the fests. Tech fests are conducted by the CSI branch of MSI by our own BCA students. I have organized many competitions as well. Now we have GDSC in our college which also organizes hackathons with big cash prizes. The library is packed with books from our curriculum but sometimes it lacks the E-modules on the MSI website to make up for it, E-modules have been prepared by our own teachers. Classrooms are quite old and no air conditioning is provided which is a big con. It is difficult to sit in summer. Sports and extracurricular activities are not paid much attention but we have an amazing football team. There are many societies and clubs in our college for all kinds of hobbies.

Life at the campus is fun, just with the bitter fact that the teachers are a little bit strict here when it comes to hanging around the college campus. The library, however, is really excellent and the availability of books in the library is also quite good here. There are various societies in our college, like the dance society, the music society, the drama society, and more. We also have sports here in our college. We have a college football team, a basketball team, and a volleyball team.

Life at campus at Maharaja Surajmal Institute is very good. Every week there is some or the other event conducted in the auditorium. Many of them are educational while others are just fun activities. Our college also hosted a Diwali fest for our college students only. It was one of the best memories i have made till now. There are many societies in our college. Enactus, Ecell, Sifar, Octave are to name a few. The societies cover all fields like fashion, music, dance, theatre, business, social work, self defense, etc. The libraries have perfect reading spots and have decent variety of curriculum books. Book bank facility is also there in my college.

Campus Life:

An annual fest is usually held in January on college grounds, and some renowned artists are always invited. A lot of stalls are set up, and quite a few events are organized as well. The library has a good collection of reference materials. Most of the books are available at all times, but a few important books may not be available. However, it is easy to find them in the bookstore outside the college at a nominal fee. The library also has a good collection of online materials and reference papers and journals in their online portal, which is accessible to all students during this pandemic. There is no sports equipment, but there are 3 acres of playgrounds for students to play football, basketball, etc. Societies are really active in the college and have around 20-25 societies with vast qualities and fields. You can easily explore yourself and societies are run by students mainly so you can run the societies on your terms also. The crowd here is really educative and fun.

The campus is small but campus life is pretty chill. The crowd is cool and all and you can make friends. There's a small canteen to eat from. 1-2 major Fests happen on campus which are interesting and fun. Books are provided by the book bank itself or you can issue any particular book from the library. Sports are negligible if you are even mildly serious about it, joining a club outside would be better. There are drama societies, a society for computer science, and many small ones like gaming and others.

What are your reviews of Maharaja Surajmal Institute, Delhi, for a BBA?

● Top Answer By Chandrakanta Ray on 21 May 21

Ans
One of my friends studied there and according to him and his classmates it isthe worst institute to pursue a BBA degree. Below are the points mentioned which will prove why they have such an aversion towards this institute: Attendance is the major issue. You need to maintain at least 75% attendance. The professors can detain you at 74% attendance. There are only two streams - BBA (General) and BBA (Banking & Insurance). There are a total of six subjects in each semester. The faculty is not so good. Mugging up is better than understanding the topic. The infrastructure of the institute is outdated. The top floor is the administrative block, and the ground floor is for the campus. No enthusiasm is shown for extra-curricular activities.  The college environment is a mix of decent students and dull students from various schools. MAIT and other below-average colleges conduct the seminars. The college timing is from 8:10-1:30, with a 20 minutes break at 11:00. There are six classes in a day. It feels similar to a school.

Ques

Which is the best IPU college for a B.Com Hons, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies or Maharaja Surajmal Institute?

● Top Answer By Amrita Banerjee on 09 Jul 22

Ans
A B.Com from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies will be better. The rules and regulations regarding academics at Maharaja Agrasen are more lenient. While Maharaja Surajmal Institute has strict rules for attendance and uniforms, etc. The placement scenario is similar at both institutes. According to the recent highlights of MAIMS Placements, B.Com students usually receive an average CTC of around INR 3 LPA. Reliance Communication, Deloitte, etc. are among the top recruiters for the course.
