MBBS Eligibility

The basic eligibility for pursuing MBBS course at Thanjavur medical college is the successful completion of 10+2 education from a recognized board.

Students also need to secure at least 50% marks in the said examination with Biology or Biotechnology as one of the compulsory subjects.

A valid rank in the NEET-UG examination is also required.

MBBS Selection Criteria

• Caste certificate, if any.
• Domicile certificate, if applicable.
• A valid NEET-UG scorecard.

Steps to apply online

• Visit the official website of the NEET exam.
• Click on apply.
• Register with NTA with your basic details.
• Proceed to fill the application form.
• Verify your mobile and email address.
• Pay the prescribed fees.
• Appear and qualify NEET-UG successfully.
• Register with the Selection Committee DME, Tamil Nadu for state quota counselling.
• If allotted a seat, visit the college with the allotment letter and the required documents.

Note: You can also choose to apply for the college in the All India Quota. For that, you need to register for the centralized counselling system of NEET-UG.
