Sacred Heart College (SHC) is located in Tiruppattur, Vellore, Tamil Nadu and was established in 1951. It is affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore. It offers under graduate and post graduate courses, alongside research programs.

The college offers B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BBA and BCA courses at the under graduate level. Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to SC / ST category.
Candidates without Mathematics in +2 are not eligible for taking up Computer Science, Computer Application, mathematics, Physics and Chemistry Course.
Candidates are required to have completed their 10 + 2 studies from the CBSE / other recognized board of education.
Selection is based purely on merit, subject to availability of seats.
Candidates must be at least 17 years of age to apply.

Sacred Heart College Postgraduate Admission 2023

Sacred Heart College offers M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MCA, MBA and MSW (Master of Social Work) courses at the post graduate level.

Candidates who have completed their under graduate studies from a recognized university, within the respective course duration, are eligible to apply for the post graduate courses.

Seats to the post graduate courses will be allotted on the basis of merit and on the basis of performance in the entrance examination and personal interview, to be conducted by the college. The merit list will be drawn up based on candidates’ performance in their previous academics.

Under graduate education should be completed from a University recognized by the UGC.

Sacred Heart College offers the Ph.D. course under 7 specializations and the M.Phil. Course under 10 specializations.

Candidates who have passed an exam of other state boards, other universities and foreign board should produce eligibility certificate from the Thiruvalluvar University.
Community certificate
Fresh income certificate signed by the revenue officer not less than the rank of a deputy Tashildar.
Aadhar card
Differently abled students should produce the certificate.
PG single girl child should have a certificate from the Revenue officer
3 copies of recent passport size photograph

Sacred Heart College Scholarship 2023

The following scholarships are available to the students of Sacred Heart College:

Government of India and State Scholarships to the tune of INR 1,24,434 for SC / ST / SCC students.
INR 10,00,000 for children of farmers as a special scholarship scheme.
Institution Scholarship, also called as DB Scholarship amounting to INR 2 lakhs for deserving students.
Rector’s scholarships for the poor and needy students.
Alumni association scholarship amounting to INR 30,000 every year.
Endowment scholarships amounting to INR 9 lakhs.
Fee concession is given to the students who are unable to pay the fees.
