College of Engineering Vadakara, Kerala was formerly known as the Co-operative Institute of Technology. CEV Vadakara offers UG and PG engineering courses to students through B.Tech and MCA degrees. The admission in this college depends upon the rank obtained in the Common Entrance Exam by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. There are 60% seats reserved for the students entering through the Common Entrance Exam by CEE, 35% seats reserved for the Management Quota, and the rest 5% for the NRI Students.

Candidates should have 50% marks in mathematics and an average of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 examination
