Eligibility Criteria 

• (10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects. 
• The candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% Aggregate marks in PCB.

How to Apply for NEET UG?

To apply for the MBBS program, the candidate needs to appear for NEET-UG Entrance Exam. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (also known as NEET-UG) is an entrance examination for the aspirants who wish to study any graduate medical course like (MBBS/ dental course (BDS)) in Government or Private Medical Colleges in India. 

The institute offers 14 postgraduate courses (MD, DM, MCh) and the duration of courses is 3 years. Below are the following PG courses offered by RMLIMS

Candidates need to appear for the NEET-PG Examination and must secure good marks to qualify for admission. After passing the exam, one can apply for the desired course by submitting the application form along with relevant documents and NEET Scorecard.

Ph.D. programme was initiated at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences in 2013 in affiliation with King George Medical University U.P. (KGMU UP). The program is conducted according to the KGMU guidelines. In the academic session faculty with required experience in all the MCI recognized/ permitted departments will be eligible to become chief guides. The candidates are trained in areas like research methodology, biostatistics, computer use, etc to ensure general proficiency as researchers in biomedical sciences and increase the likelihood of their pursuing a successful career in research. Successful candidates will be awarded “DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY” from K.G. MEDICAL UNIVERSITY U. P.

Candidates must have graduate and postgraduate degrees with at least 60% marks. Medical/Dental candidates must have MD/MS/MDS with at least   60% marks in MBBS/BDS aggregate  

For Eligible Ph.D. applicants with secure funding, a Ph.D. Entrance Test shall be conducted by the KGMU through the Office of Controller of Examination. 

•  Entrance Test will be a written aptitude test in logical thinking, human biology (10+2 level), general awareness, research aptitude and basic computer knowledge (class 10 level). Qualifying marks will be 55% for general, 50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The qualified candidates will be called for an Interview. 
•  The Entrance Test qualified candidates and JRFs will have to submit an application to the Head of the department of his/her chosen field within 15 days of declaration of result of the Entrance Test.

Application form can be downloaded from the website of RMLIMS.  Completed application form along with processing fee Rs. 1500/- (DD Drawn in favor of “KGMU-PhD Program A/c” payable at Lucknow) should be submitted at Dean Office, 1st Floor, Administrative Block, RMLIMS.
