In order to apply for IMI, candidates need to follow a stepwise procedure mentioned below:
- Candidates must visit the online official website and click on the ‘Apply Now’ tab.
- Now, fill all the required details and click on the submit button.
- Candidates also need to pay an application fee of the required amount.
NOTE:
- For DNS and B.Tech. Lateral Entry, the application fee is INR 2000/-.
- In case of DNS, application fee can be paid through cash or demand draft favoring ‘IMI’ payable at Greater Noida.
- For B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) admissions, candidates are required to apply online at www.imi.edu.in and pay the registration fees through Online Payment Gateway provided at IMI Website or NEFT.

International Maritime Institute Diploma in Nautical Science Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with PCM as compulsory subjects and obtained a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
- B.Sc. Graduate candidates with a minimum of 60% in final year are also eligible to apply for the course.
- Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in English at 10+2 or 10th level.
- Candidates should have fluency in written and spoken English.
- Candidates must not be aged more than 25 years on the date of commencement of training.
- Candidates must be medically fit with eyesight 6/6 (without external aids) and no colour blindness.
- Candidates must have qualified the OPEN-NET Examination conducted by IMU.
