GITAM Haryana offers B.Tech and Lateral Entry B.Tech in 6 specializations.Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science to be eligible for admission.

The admission is based on merit but if the candidate has given any national/ state level entrance examination, the institute takes that into consideration as well during the selection process.

Candidates also have the option to take Lateral Entry (admission into the second year) into B.Tech courses.

Key points:

• Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) is conducted for lateral entry into B.E./B.Tech courses in the state of Haryana.
• A valid score of JEE Main or any other state level entrance exam will be considered for admission.

The institute offers M.Tech in 7 specializations. Candidates must have a B.E./ B.Tech degree in the relevant field with minimum aggregate marks of 50% as a basic eligibility criterion for admission.

The admission into M.Tech courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination and GATE scores.

Important points:

• Candidates with valid GATE scores are given priority during the selection process.
• For non-GATE candidates, selection will be done on merit based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

For BBA, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education with 45%. To apply for MBA, candidates must have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with aminimum of 50% marks.

Selection is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. 

Note: If a candidate has given a national/ state level entrance examination, that will also be taken into consideration

For BCA, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education with 45%. To apply for MCA, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the 10+2 level with 50%.

Candidates can also take lateral entry into MCA if they are eligible. The selection will be based on the merit in the qualifying examination.

Candidates must have passed SSC (10^th) examination or equivalent from a recognized board of education with Science and Mathematics as subjects as a basic criterion for admission.

Candidates can also choose to take lateral entry into the Diploma courses if they are eligible.

The admission process for Diploma courses is carried out through Diploma Entrance Test (DET) and Diploma Entrance Test Lateral DET (L) conducted in the state of Haryana.

Note: DET (L) – Diploma Entrance Test Lateral, is an entrance examination conducted for lateral entry into Diploma Engineering courses.
