ABESIT B.Tech Admission 2023

ABES Institute of Technology offers the B.Tech degree under five different specialization subjects. The college also accepts Lateral Entry (direct admission in the second year).

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and any one of Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject with a minimum aggregate of 45% (Gen) and 40% (SC/ST) marks from any institute located in U.P or whose parents are domicile of U.P to be eligible for UPSEE.

Key points:

10% of the total sanctioned seats will be filled by JEE Main or UPSEE for Non-UP domicile candidates.

Yes, they are two different institutions providing technical education. ABES Engineering College and ABESIT College of Engineering both are situated in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh close to the National Highway – 24. They both are thus very well connected to Noida, New Delhi, and Greater Noida.

Both are affiliated with the Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. In fact, they both share the same boundary wall. However, ABES Engineering College is the older of the two, having been established in 2000 while ABESIT College of Engineering was established in 2007-08.

Except for all these, both are two totally different engineering colleges.

Which should I take, admission in IT in IET Lucknow or a CS (FW) in ABES Ghaziabad? Which one is better?

ABES Ghaziabad is a better choice. It is thriving and is now one of the best colleges in the state. The training and placement cell is quite good, bringing in a large number of companies.

Academics:

Among all Aktu colleges, ABES has the finest academic record. However, they are very strict with students in this regard. The first year's results are crucial for college. As a result, first-year students have limited independence.

Location:

ABES is located on NH-24 in Ghaziabad, in a prime location. As a result, there is stronger connectivity with Delhi. This College has an advantage over other government colleges in Aktu because of its position in the Delhi NCR.

Students have a lot of resources at their disposal to help them prepare for employment and interviews.
NCR has the best gate and coding coaching and Because of their locations in Delhi-NCR, more corporations visit the campus.

Coding Culture:

College seniors are quite helpful. ABES has a better coding culture than other colleges in the NCR.

Placement:

BTech CSE at ABES is really good, the reason being the placements at this college. No matter how hard they grill you for the first three years, the placements & placement cell of this college is quite good and if you are in CSE/IT, consider yourself placed from the first year only.

You simply need to prepare yourself for a larger package because there are a plethora of companies offering packages ranging from 3 lakhs to 13 lakhs per annum and even more. According to the recent placement highlights the highest CTC offered was 8 LPA. All you need to do is enhance your coding skills.

So, I would suggest going with ABES. The institute has A/C classrooms, a positive campus culture, a premium location, and much more. You will definitely have a great time there.

IET Lucknow is a government college and the students there have cracked some difficult competitive exams and bagged seats through good ranks. This also gives you the added assurance that the students you will come across are very capable.

Students often do not end up cracking the JEE Advanced exams, but there are a lot who do end up cracking the exam.
This creates an environment of learning at IET Lucknow and serves as a way in which the students engage in their overall improvement.
The faculty at IET Lucknow is very experienced and it has grown more robust lately due to some new appointments.
In terms of the placements, the students pursuing CS, IT, or EC will get placed right from the campus.
The students in the core branches prepare for appearing in the government examinations.
The coursework is not as rigorous as the IITs but if you are committed enough you will be able to achieve your goals.
There are also a lot of extra-curricular activities which will help you in honing your skills and development of personality.
In your final year, you will be given a single room (no sharing).
IET Lucknow also boasts of labs that are admirable.

CSE students from ABESIT are generally employed by TCS, Wipro, Sopra, and Accenture. In 2018-19, more than 100 students were placed from the department with Acadecraft, Amazon, Capgemini and Dynotech. Two students received the highest package of INR 10 LPA by BYJUs; which is the same highest salary as offered at ABES Engineering College.

The application process at Sharda University is fully online. The application fee is 500 INR.

Admissions are based on an entrance test called SUAT (Sharda University admission test).
