At the undergraduate level, the college offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program for the candidates opting to build their career in Medicine and Surgery. The programme takes 5.5 years to complete the duration period. The MBBS programme has an intake capacity of 100 seats.
Candidates need to clear 10+2 level or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects, from a well recognized educational institute to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the course.
Candidates interested in MBBS are required to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG), a national level entrance exam which is regulated by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The duly filled-in application form should be submitted to the College Office together with self-attested copies of necessary certificates and nonrefundable application fee/processing fee of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) as DD in favor of Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, payable at Thrissur.

The application forms should be completed carefully, furnishing the entire information called for. Late and incomplete applications and applications not in the prescribed form will be summarily rejected.
