NEET UG 2024 will be held on May 5, 2024, for admission to MBBS at Amala Institute of Medical Science. NEET PG 2024 will be held on March 3, 2024, for admission to MD/ MS at Amala Institute of Medical Science.

Amala Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) is a private medical college, established in 1978. The college is situated in Thrissur city of Kerala state. The college provides education in the Medical field as well as Medical treatment.

The college offers courses like MBBS, Nursing, MD, MS, DM, DDVL, M.Ch. and D.Ch. program at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Candidates interested in MBBS are required to appear in national level entrance exam, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG), as per a Supreme Court directive in 2016. The exam is regulated by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Amala Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Admssion 2023

At the undergraduate level, the college offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program for the candidates opting to build their career in Medicine and Surgery. The programme takes 5.5 years to complete the duration period. The MBBS programme has an intake capacity of 100 seats.

Candidates need to clear 10+2 level or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects, from a well recognized educational institute to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the course.

Candidates interested in MBBS are required to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG), a national level entrance exam which is regulated by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The college offers a number of Nursing program at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. B.Sc in Nursing is a course of four years whereas M.Sc in Nursing is a course of two years.

To meet the eligibility criteria of B.Sc Nursing, candidates need to pass 10+2 level examination in PCB combination (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) with minimum 50% marks. To apply for M.Sc programme, candidates need to have a B.Sc Nursing degree along with teaching or clinical experience.

Admission in the B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing program offered by the college is done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination. For the M.Sc (N) program, candidates must have teaching or clinical experience of one year.

The duly filled-in application form should be submitted to the College Office together with self-attested copies of necessary certificates and nonrefundable application fee/processing fee of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) as DD in favor of Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, payable at Thrissur.

The filled-in application form should be submitted to: THE DIRECTOR, AMALA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, AMALA NAGAR P.O, THRISSUR –680555 or late receipt of applications, under any circumstances.

The application forms should be completed carefully, furnishing the entire information called for. Late and incomplete applications and applications not in the prescribed form will be summarily rejected.
