Vignan's Lara Institute of Technology & Science (VLITS) offers B.Tech. courses at the Bachelor’s level in 6 different specializations in the areas of Engineering and Technology. The minimum eligibility to apply is 10+2 from a recognized board with PCM as mandatory subjects.

Selection in M.Tech is done on the basis of rank/score in PGECET. Students who get selected in the merit list will be notified to appear for the counselling round.

VLITS Application Process 2023

The mode of application is offline for VLITS. The application form can be obtained online on the institute’s website or from the institute’s campus. The form should be filled correctly with all the required details. After reviewing and ensuring that the details filled in, are correct, the candidates should note down the reference number for later use.

The payment must be done by a DD drew in favor of “Principal, Vignan’s Lara Institute of Technology & Science” payable at Guntur. If a candidate has obtained the application form from the campus, the fee is INR 1500 and for the downloaded form, the fee is INR 2000.

The completed application forms should be either submitted at the institute in person or sent through Registered Post to the institute.

How good is Vignan Lara Vadlamudi in placements?

One of my friends recently graduated from Vignan Lara Vaslamudi. Here are his insights.

College Lifestyle: The administration and management of Vignan Lara Institute of Technology and Science are quite good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute matches the one you would expect and find in other institutes.
Education: Both the staff and HOD are cooperative.
Placements: For the last 3 years, the institute is trying its best to help students have the best exposure by inviting several major firms. CSE or IT students generally secure jobs at top firms, while ECE and EEE students usually take up software jobs at core companies. According to recent statistics around 90% of students get placement opportunities. The average CTC offered is 3.5 LPA.
Restrictions and Liberty: The rules and regulations usually mandated at the institute are not that strict.

Overall, Vignan Lara Vaslamudi offers a good academic environment and decent opportunities. If you are getting admission to the institute, you should go for it.

Which is better, Vignan's Lara or VVIT?

Here is a brief comparison of Vignan’s Lara Institute of Technology and VVIT, based on the reviews I got from my friends at the institute.

Both the institutes are affiliated with JNTUK.
The fee structure is slightly higher for VVIT than Vignan Lara Institute of Technology.
In terms of the infrastructure, VVIT surpasses the former.
VVIT also offers better placement as compared to Vignan’s Lara Institute. The highest CTC offered at VVIT is 18 LPA.
Life at VVIT is better than Vignan. But it is more strict.
Since both of them are away from Guntur City.
VVIT is more reputed in AP.

Overall, VVIT is better than Vignan’s Lara Institute.
