Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing the mechanical branch is my personal interest, and I see myself in the R and D of some industries in the mechanical depart. For UEC college, faculty to students ratio is 1:9 roughly. The ratio is on an overall basis, it can vary with departments. As for mechanical, I would say the best faculty in Madhya Pradesh have, professors who are well-skilled, and mostly from IIT or other top-notch colleges. And the same with the other departments too but in a few branches the faculty are not much better!. The academic calendar is provided but exam dates are altered as always. Dates are delayed by days or weeks. The difficulty level of exams is much higher than in other private colleges, especially for mathematics we have the toughest paper setter for it, even NIT students review that maths paper is tough for UEC in some cases.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was part of the electrical engineering 2011-2015 batch. The professors were very well experienced and professional too. This college is autonomous so the exam papers were prepared in the college itself but they too have the standards.

Ques
Which is better for civil, IET DAVV, Ujjain Engineering College, or Medi-Caps?

● Top Answer By Samriddha Saha on 13 Jul 21

Ans
One of my friends has completed civil engineering from IET DAVV and she was not happy with her choice. Following are some facts shared by her which might give you a clear idea. Choose a college that comes among the top colleges as the top-ranked colleges. They have better infrastructure, reputation, and faculty. You will get to interact with different people with different career goals, which would help you to decide what you want to pursue. Talking about IET, my friends from IET have straight away mentioned that the condition is quite disappointing when it comes to the civil engineering branch. A good college is very important as it doesn't only provides you with the best knowledge but also helps to develop one’s personality. Categories IET DAVV Ujjain Engineering College Medi-Caps Course Fee 2.74 lakhs 25,151 (1st year) 4.85 lakhs Highest CTC 16 LPA 8.2 LPA 8 LPA Average CTC 8 LPA 3.2 LPA 3.5 LPA Recruiting Companies Accenture, Capgemini, etc. HP, IBM, etc. TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. Though the performance of IET DAVV is gradually lowering, it is still the best one among the mentioned 3 colleges. Placements are better at IET DAVV than the other two. Also, IET DAVV has a locational advantage.

Ques
Which is better mechanical engineering from ujjain engineering college or electronics and communication engineering from uit rgpv bhopal?

● Top Answer By Charu Das on 10 Nov 20

Ans
Ujjain Engineering College (UEC) ranks 10th among the top engineering colleges by NIRF ranking. They have highly supportive ten faculty members who are always motivating the students in all aspects.  ECE from UIT RGPV Bhopal is one of the fastest-growing fields of engineering courses.  The overall placement rate in this institute is approximately 89% every year.  Admission: UEC:- The candidates must have passed 10+2 having physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects.  Selection is based on the marks obtained in JEE Main. The cutoff required is 53997 - 70050. The fees required is INR 25,151. The seats allocated for this course are 60. UIT RGPV:- A minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as primary subjects.  JEE Main is necessary for the admission in B.Tech Automobile engineering. The cutoff required is 56950 - 67302. The program fee required is INR 23,920. The institute houses a total intake of 60 students. Placements: UEC provides moderate placement to the students. Many companies visit the college but mostly CSE and ECE students get the most placement with an average salary of INR 4 LPA.  UIT RGPV organises both on-campus and off-campus placement drives so that the students get placed in reputed companies.  Tabulated below are the placement statistics of both institutions: Categories UEC UIT RGPV Placement Percentage 70% 80% Highest CTC INR 9 LPA INR 20 LPA Average CTC INR 5 LPA INR 4-5 LPA The top companies are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Atos, etc.  Campus life The hostels of both these provide all the basic amenities and consist of an accommodation of 200 students in each hostel. Both of these colleges have well-equipped laboratories and have a rich collection of books over different topics. The college has abundant facilities that can be availed by the students in all spheres of academic and nonacademic life. Mechanical engineering is considered as one of the best in Madhya Pradesh. However, ECE has a phenomenal future in India, and so many students prefer it than mechanical engineering.

● Top Answer By Shantanu Chakraborty on 18 Sept 20

Ans
NIT Arunachal Pradesh is among the top 200 engineering colleges in the country according to the NIRF Ranking of 2020. Ujjain Engineering College is an AICTE approved autonomous institute. The closing cut-off ranking for the biotechnology program at NIT Arunachal Pradesh was 44,563 in 2019. The first year fee of the course is 2.2 Lakhs. However, students can also avail scholarships and other fee waivers. Placements- The highest and average salary of the students at this campus is 11.68 LPA and 4.2 LPA respectively. The companies visiting the campus for the placement drive are Wipro, Research laboratories, Pharmaceutical companies, Intel, Infosys, Hyundai, Havells, NOKIA, Polaris, Ashok Leyland, Yodlee, Asahi India Glass, and many more. Ujjain Engineering College, Mechanical engineering: Admission- Like NIT Arunachal Pradesh, Ujjain Engineering college also accepts students based on the intermediate and 10+2 marks. The final selection is based on the performance of the students in JEE Main. The closing cut-off ranking of the home state and other states for Mechanical Engineering in 2019 was 140822 and 123322 respectively. The fee for this course is 99,404. Placements- The highest and average salaries received by the students are 10 LPA and 3.5 LPA respectively. The companies visiting the campus are Uttam Galva Steel, Wipro, Intel, Infosys, Lupin, Yash Technologies, BYJU’S, TCS, and many more. Biotechnology and Mechanical Engineering are two completely different subjects. You should choose the subject you are more passionate about and the institute according to that.
