Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to 1-year full-time Post graduate diploma in cyber security and law program shall be graduates or above in Science (Physics& Chemistry), Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering in Technology (Computer science/ Electronics/Electronics and Communication, Information Technology), BCA, MCA, M.Tech or any other degree equivalent thereto

Course Details

SSCBS also offers post graduate diploma program in Cyber Security and Law. It has a blend of both, cyber security and cyber law in an academic way of learning for students.

The basic eligibility for the course is a graduate degree in Physics, Chemistry, IT, Engineering, BCA. MCA or M.Tech qualified candidates can also apply.

Final year students can also apply.

Reservation of candidates are done as follows :

OBC: 27%, SC: 15%, ST: 7.5%.

SSCBS New Delhi PGDCSL Selection Criteria

Admission in PGDCSL is Merit based only.
Eligible candidates will get a call back regarding Interview rounds.
Candidates will have to carry a set of hardcopies and bring along the original following documents:
- Class X & XII Examination Certificate and Mark-Sheet
- Graduation Mark-sheets and Degree Certificate
- Post Graduation Mark-sheets and Degree Certificate.
- Character Certificate
- Category certificate
- Income Certificate, if applicable
Eligibility for the interview will be considered on the basis of academic profile of the candidate
Upon successful completion of the interview, a merit list will be drawn.
This list will be made considering 85% of the academic profile and 15% of interview performance.

Passport size photograph (maximum size: 50KB; Formats: JPG/JPEG/ PNG).
Scanned signature of the applicant (maximum size: 50 KB; Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG) Self-attested copy of Identity Proof (maximum size: 50 KB, Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG).
Scanned Identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN card, Voter’s identity card, Passport or College identity card).
Scanned self-attested copy of Class 10th Certificate (maximum size: 100 KB, Formats: JPG/JPEG/ PNG/ PDF).
Scanned self-attested copy of Caste Certificate, if applicable (maximum size: 100 KB, Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF)

Steps to apply online

Candidates can apply online at the PGDCSL admission portal.
For new users, create a new login ID and password by entering email ID and phone number details. .
On completion of this process a verification email will be sent to candidate’s email account with a confirmation link, which the applicant shall have to click to confirm the registration.
Re login and start filling the application form.
Enter the educational, personal details
Upload the documents required
Once all the files are uploaded and application form is filled, candidates can submit their application.
Retain a hard copy print of the application form.

There are a lot of points mentioned by one of my cousins who graduated from SSCBS. He mentioned that the cricket league of CBS happens on a really small pitch-like lawn. Thus, if it were different then the CBC cricket league wouldn't happen on the lawn. NSIT, DTU, and IIT are the colleges that organize a good number of events, competitions, and workshops. So, at CBS the events, competitions, and workshops would have been doubled. The societies are formed in the college for various purposes and if they were in CBS the societies would save a good amount on the venue for the events. Also, the fresher’s party of CBS is supposed to take place at the college parking lot, which isn’t preferable to the students. Thus, the students would get a perfect venue for attending the freshers’ party. Overall, my brother mentioned that the campus isn’t anything without the students thus, it isn’t that different from other campuses.

Having some of my friends study in both colleges, I can say that enrolling in Shaheed Sukhdev for BMS would be much more apt than that of IIM Rohtak for IPM. Both the colleges hold their places enormously but Shaheed Sukhdev will be better due to their overall educational experience. There are several reasons for choosing it, some are: BMS as compared to IPM is a much older course. The placement of Shaheed Sukhdev reached heights due to their BMS course. The highest package offered to the students of Sukhdev College was around 18 LPA (latest). You can also get a chance to do your MBA from some other top IIMs in the country later on in life. Moreover, IPM Rohtak would be taking in its second batch, and hence no point in talking about placements. Categories IPM at IIM Rohtak BMS at Shaheed Sukhdev Course Fee 30.75 lakh 40,075 Course Duration 5 years 3 years Highest CTC 24 LPA 19.25 LPA Average CTC 13 LPA 8-10 LPA Recruiting Companies Amazon, Accenture, Berger, Capgemini, etc. Google, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, etc. It is suggested that you choose BMS over IPM. Having known some people graduating from both IIM Indore and Shaheed Sukhdev, I got to know that among the two Shaheed Sukhdev is a better option. They provide a better return on investment. It's better to have more options than to pay 30+ lakhs and get a job of 11 to 15 lakhs while paying the loan for 4 years. There is a very strong chance to go for the CAT or GMAT to pursue PGDM courses from B-schools which are higher in rank and more reputed than IIM Indore. Shaheed Sukhdev offers similar job opportunities like any top IIM or NITs. Being in Delhi you would get more industrial exposure for internships, jobs, seminars, etc. It has a much lower fee structure than IIM Indore. Categories IIM Indore Shaheed Sukhdev Course Fee 15.01 lakhs 1.36 lakhs Highest CTC 24 LPA 22 LPA Average CTC 12 LPA 10-12 LPA Recruiting Companies Wipro, IBM, Cognizant, ZS Associates, etc. TCS, PWC, Deloitte, Dell, etc. All these reasons are good to favor Shaheed Sukhdev over IPM IIM Indore.
