Candidates seeking admission to 3-year full-time B.Sc(Hons.) Computer Science must have passed with 60% or more marks in Mathematics and an aggregate of 60% or more marks in English, Mathematics and best of the two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science/Informatics Practices OR an aggregate of 60% or more marks in English, Mathematics and two subjects (other than Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science/Informatics Practices) with a deduction of 1% per subject in the aggregate from a recognized board of education

SSCBS offers admission into B.Sc program with Computer Science as a specialization. The program is iof three years duration in a full time mode. 

Candidates must have passed 10+2 levels of education from a recognised board. Candidate must have passed in each subject (including practical subjects). 

If passed with compartment results, candidates will not be eligible to apply. Candidates who have gap year(s) will also be eligible for the program.

During the 10+2 level, candidate must have passed the following subjects, on a mandatory basis, 

• Mathematics (60+ marks)
• one language subject and 
• Minimum two academic subjects (Physics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Informatics Practices.)

The overall aggregate of the best 4 subjects as mentioned above should be minimum 60%. 

SSCBS New Delhi B.Sc (Computer Science) Selection Criteria

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit. 
• 4 subjects from 10+2 level will be taken to consider the aggregate score. 
  • Mathematics
  • Language (1)
  • Two academic subjects related to the stream
• Minimum cut off for selection is 60% (considering all the 4 subject)
• A merit list will be made and candidates on the list shall receive the selection letter. 
• Within the given schedule, the candidate has to make the admission fee payment as early as possible to confirm the seat acceptance.

Steps to apply offline

• Click here for the admission webpage of SSCBS 
• Enter for “New Registration”. Fill in the name, mobile number and EMail ID. 
• A verification mail will be sent at the registered mail ID of the candidate. Upon clicking, it will lead to the webpage where a new password is to be created. 
• After creating the new password, re login using Email ID and new password and start filling the application form. 
• Enter the academic and personal details, 
• Upload scanned photograph and signature. 
• Make the application form fee payment. 
• Submit the form and take a hard copy print of the form. 
• Send the printout of the application form within the documents to the admission office of the institute.
