Agharkar Research Institute, Pune offers a full-time Ph.D program for a duration of 3-6 years. ARI offers a Ph.D. degree in six different areas of life sciences namely:

ARI Ph.D Eligibility
- For Ph.D programs, Candidates must possess M.Sc. or any equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- Candidates must possess CSIR/UGC-Junior Research Fellowship or NET-LS/GATE as well as a fellowship from agencies like DBT, ICAR, etc.
ARI Ph.D Selection Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission must send their application form via email.
- The list of shortlisted candidates would be displayed on the official website.
- The date and venue of interview will be displayed on ARI interview.
- The interview will follow the rules of SPPU.
