National Research Centre for Grapes, Pune was established in 1997. The college is affiliated to University of Pune. It is approved by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). ICAR-NRC for Grapes received a Certificate of Merit from the APEDA for Efficient implementation of the pesticide residue monitoring plan and research on grapes.
ICAR-NRC offers services in Agriculture/Dairy/Fertilizer with Annual Total Turnover of 0-10 Crs and with Employee Strength of 10 to 50. The main objectives of the college is to develop varieties with economically important traits for table, wine, raisins and juice and strategic alliances for research and transfer of technologies.
