Shri Shikshayatan college in Kolkata is one of the most reputed private all girls colleges. The Economics department of the college is one of the best with excellent faculty. Also, Loreto has witnessed university toppers from this department before. Shri Shikshayatan College is a good option if you want to pursue any Commerce degree. The faculty base for Commerce is quite good. On the other hand, J.D. Birla is well-known for its home-science honours course. 

Among these two institutes, Goenka College of Commerce is the best option for pursuing a B.com Honours course. As Shri Shikshatan College is a private institute, the infrastructure of the institute is good. Bot Goenka College of Commerce offers better academics. After St. Xavier College of Kolkata, Goenka is the most popular.
