Swami Vivekanand College of Engineering (SVCE), Indore was established in 2004 under Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutions. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognised by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh. It is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute. The institute is spread on 25 acre of land and located on Indore-Khandwa highway no. SH-27, about 16 km from Indore Railway Station and about 10 km away from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAV) campus at Bhawarkuan, Indore.
