Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan (SKIT) located in Jaipur, it was established in 2000. The institute is affiliated to Rajasthan Technological University (RTU) and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

At present, SKIT ranks #1 among the Top Engineering Colleges in Rajasthan (ranked by RTU). The engineering branches at SKIT, are accredited by both NBA and IE (I). And, thus, most of its programs are offered in engineering at all levels of degree programs.

Currently, B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Tech, MBA and Ph.D. are offered for admissions to students. There is a 5% relaxation for students belonging to backward classes or having disability, but from Rajasthan only. The students can apply online for the respective entrance exams.

Students willing to apply for B.Tech must have passed 10+2 with 45% separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Rajasthan board or equivalent. They must also qualify for JEE Mains (entrance), and apply for REAP (counseling).

For M.Tech admissions, students must have a degree in B.E or B.Tech in a relevant field of study. They qualify for GATE (entrance) and apply for admission through RTU-CAM (counseling).

For MBA admissions students must have an aggregate of 50% in bachelor’s degree. Also, qualify for CMAT (entrance), and apply through RMAT for counseling.

Ph.D. admissions are offered through RTU. students must have a relevant B.E or B.Tech degree and qualify either the entrance conducted by RTU-DAT. Applications for admission are also accepted through RTU-DAT (for counseling).

*REAP Application Process

The process of registering on REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) for counseling, the students must follow the below-given steps:

Candidates can register on the official website of REAP.
Payment of INR 700 & INR 705 at an e-mitra kiosk center is accepted.
The kiosk will then generate a 12 or 16-digit token number for the candidate.
This token number can be used at the e-Mitra portal for accessing the application.
Candidates are advised to save a copy of the fee payment receipt.

Documents Required:

Scanned image of the photograph in jpg format.
Scanned image of the signature in jpg format
Photocopy of mark sheets of 10+2.
Photocopy of mark sheet of JEE Main scorecard.
Photocopy of the certificate if belonging to a reserved category.
Receipt issued by e-Mitra kiosk having the Token Number/Transaction ID of payment made through Bill desk or Challan number.

Note: There are 2-3 rounds of counseling for admission:

Round I of counseling is for candidates not belonging to Rajasthan, Ex-servicemen and PwD.
Round II of counseling is for the candidates belonging to Rajasthan.
If seats still remain vacant, then a special round of counseling would be conducted.

JEE Mains

The application fee for taking this exam varies with the type of candidature. The application fee for the general category is INR 325. The following section throws light on the requirements and the process of registration for JEE Mains.

Documents Required

Scanned and recent photograph coloured or black/white (but clear contrast) JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
Application forms with unclear photographs will be rejected.

How to Register?

Visit the official website of JEE Main and click on “Fill Online Application Form”.
Register by giving your personal details, to generate a user id and password.
The application number will be generated after submitting the details for registration.
The form requires personal details, address, and mobile number.
You can set your security question and password to access the application for the future.
Submit the application form by logging in with the same user id and password that you had set.

RCA Application Process**

Log on to www.ruhsraj.org for the online application form.
Ensure the eligibility and other requirements for admission as given in this booklet.
Application would be rejected if any lapse is found at any stage.
Handwritten, typed, xeroxed copies, printed Application Form or screen printouts are not entertained.
Application fee of INR 1500 (INR 750 for SC, ST, ST-STA of Rajasthan state and PwD) is charged.
The application fee is non-refundable.

***RTU-CAM Registration Process

To register for M.Tech admissions, students must follow the step-wise-step process for admission counseling::

Students can register through RTU CAM for the counseling.
A registration fee of INR 3,000 (INR 1,500 for reserved category) is required for submitting the application.
Students who are GATE qualified or those who are not, both must fill the form.
The application will be considered complete with necessary documents upload, choice filling and locking.
Upon selection, the candidates will have to appear with all relevant documents and the application form to complete the admission process.

Students who qualify for the GATE exam can apply for admissions to this institute.

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id.

Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

SKIT Ph.D. Admission 2023

Doctoral program in 3 Engineering specializations for admission to SKIT is offered. Ph.D. requirements and admissions are set and monitored, respectively by RTU. The following given section throws light upon the required prerequisites for admission:

Ans. Merit lists are prepared after students apply for admission counseling through the respective channels for the chosen course. Thus, applicants must try to score above average marks in the entrance, to make it to the merit list.

Ques. What are the hostel and mess charges?

Ans. At SKIT there is Nirwana Boys Hostel, which has single occupancy AC rooms. While Noran Girls Hostel includes double occupancy AC rooms. The charges for the hostel and mess are bifurcated below for clarity:
