SNGCE Kadayiruppu offers four-year B.Tech degree in 6 specializations with a total intake of 570 students at the UG level. The college is known to offer Naval Architecture & Ship Engineering specialization in B.Tech.

All admissions to the course are based on scores/ranks of KEAM conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala or KEE.

The final merit list is prepared by the college after considering the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent subjects in the qualifying examination and marks obtained in the same subjects in any of the two state entrance exams. The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are subjected to normalization process.

Note: 10% of the total seats of B.Tech will be filled under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme.

The college runs M.Tech degree programs in 8 specializations. DTE prepares a rank list based on candidates GATE score/aggregate marks obtained in degree examination.

Candidates achieving a DTE rank can apply to SNGCE before the last date (as and when notified) and prepare a list based on merit under which 50% of seats will be filled.

Remaining 50% of seats come under management quota to be filled up by the college.

Candidates require a degree in appropriate branch of engineering from an AICTE / Deemed University with minimum 60% marks in degree examination.

• Candidates qualifying degree from other universities or institutions must produce eligibility certificate at the time of admission.
• Candidates passing AMIE/AMIETE Examinations with minimum 55% marks with valid Gate score and 3 years professional experience are also considered eligible.
• Candidates holding valid GATE scores are eligible for AICTE scholarship.  

The college offers admissions to MCA degree program and Lateral Entry Admissions into the second year.

The minimum qualification required is a degree any discipline (except for languages) from a university recognized by M. G. University with at least 50% marks with Mathematics or Statistics studies at plus two or degree level.

Candidates possessing BCA degree from a recognized university scoring at least 55% marks can also apply.

Key points:

• 50% seats will be filled through The Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala and the remaining 50% seats will be filled from the rank list of college on the basis of entrance examination under management quota.
• For MCA Lateral Entry Admissions, those who have passed BCA/B.Sc. IT & Computer Science by scoring minimum 50% marks can take admission.
• Admissions are based on the merit of qualifying examination and scores obtained in the entrance examination (conducted by the Management Association).

MBA degree program is available at a postgraduate level in 5 specializations. Candidates seeking admissions must have positive scores in any of the three entrance tests – CAT (conducted by IIM), CMAT (conducted by AICTE) and KMAT (conducted by LBS). Admissions will be based on the merit of marks obtained in Degree examination and entrance exam scores.

Applicants need a pass in Bachelor’s degree in any discipline recognized by KTU or an equivalent degree by securing minimum 50% marks in each year of the degree.
