Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT), Roorkee is an Engineering college located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. It is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. Roorkee Institute of Technology was established under the tutelage of Himalayan Charitable Trust (HCT) in 2005. The Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT) offers B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech, MBA and MCA at the UG and PG level focusing the area of Technology, Business Administration, Master of Admission etc.

To apply for B.Tech, candidates are bound to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) which is equipped to seek admission in B.Tech. The exam is conducted by CBSE.
Candidates seeking admission in rest of the courses are selected based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination

Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT) UG Admission 2023

At the UG level the institute offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) under different specializations. The duration of B.Tech programme is four years whereas the duration of B.Sc is three years. The institute also accepts a Lateral entry in second year holding a duration of three years.

Candidates looking for admission in B.Tech programme need to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by CBSE.
To apply online for JEE candidates are advised to visit the official website of the JEE Main
Candidates seeking admission in B.Sc programme will be selected according to the marks secured in the 10+2 level examination.

Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT) M.Tech Admission 2023

At the postgraduate level the institute provides Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme in the area of Technology. The programme takes a two years to fulfil the duration period. Candidates already having a B.Tech degree or have appeared in the B.Tech final examination from any recognized University in the relevant field are considered capable to apply for M.Tech.

Candidates will be admitted according to the obtained marks in the B.Tech examination. The admission process is conducted by the institute.

Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT) MBA and MCA Admission 2023

The institute caters two other courses viz, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) along with M.Tech in PG level. The institute also accepts MCA lateral entry for their indeed candidates.

Duration of MCA is three years while MCA Lateral Entry and MBA programmes are of two years. Seat availability of the seats of both of the programmes is 60.

Admission in MBA is accorded on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in BBA/ B.Sc/ B.Com exam, as per norms.
The institute runs the admission of MBA as per the marks secured by the candidates in BCA/ B.Sc/ B.Com, following the rules of the institute.
Admission in the MCA Lateral entry is made based on the marks of the candidate scored in the first year MCA exam.

Rit College and it's unseen review

What I Liked

The only thing is good is security guard
Campus is green and good there is lot of place to see
Water service is good and parking is good .

What I didn’t like

Teacher are not good admission faculty not good
Labs and classes is just for advertisement not good
Placement support is not good infact nothing

Remarks:

I choose this college because of fees structure and I didn't apply for any other college and it is near from my home. As I told I haven't applyfor any other collegee except this college only. Criteria is only give money and take admission
