The College also offers M.Tech degree in six specializations at post-graduation level. Like B.Tech, 50% of total seats shall be filled under government quota by Director of Technical Education, Kerala. A rank list will be displayed by DTE, Kerala for allotment of admissions.
The remaining 50% seats shall be occupied through college level admission on merit basis. The selection of the candidate will be based on the valid GATE scores.
However, if seats remain vacant even Non-GATE candidates can apply based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the test conducted by the college. Short listed candidates will be called to appear in personal interview.
The eligibility for each specialization is B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and a pass for SC/ST candidates. Or candidate with minimum 55% marks in AMIE/ AMIETE examination.

Key Points to remember for M.Tech Admission:
- Candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s degree from RSET will be given 5% weightage in calculating index merit.
- Sponsored candidates with more than two-year of experience will be given extra weightage based on their experience.
- Non-Sponsored Non-GATE candidates’ index merit will be calculated based on marks obtained in Qualifying Examination and Entrance Examination in 40:60 proportions.
- Sponsored category index merit is calculated based on marks obtained in Qualifying Examination, Entrance Examination and Work experience in 40:50:10 proportions.
- Sponsored candidates with more than two-year of experience will be given more importance.
