Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management formerly known as Northern India Engineering College was established by BBDES, Lucknow in the year 2003. The institute is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
ADGITM offers B.Tech in 8 specializations, a BBA and an MBA course approved by AICTE in affiliation with GGSIPU, Delhi.
- For admission to UG and PG programs, the candidates must have qualified Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET) examinations.

ADGITM undergraduate Admission
At the undergraduate level, the college offers a full-time degree course in B.Tech. and BBA.
B.Tech. is offered under eight different specializations for a duration of 4 years. BBA is offered for a period of 3 years.

Selection Criteria
- Admission to all the above-mentioned courses will be done on the basis of the CET. Applicants must appear in the same.
- The admissions would be based on the merit/rank in the CET followed by a round of online counseling.
- Candidates with Diploma in Architecture are not eligible for Lateral Entry.
Exam Pattern
B.Tech.
- IPU CET for B.Tech tests candidate’s aptitude based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- 150 objective questions are asked and sectional weightage of 33.33% is given to each section.
BBA
- The paper is divided into four sections.
- Questions are asked from English, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Management Aptitude.
- IPU CET for BBA comprises of 150 objective type questions.
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes.
Counseling
- After the declaration of results, candidates are shortlisted for IPU CET Counselling.
- A merit list is prepared on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in the IPU CET Exam.
ADGITM Postgraduate Admission
At the postgraduate level, the college offers an MBA program.

Selection Process
- All admissions shall be made on the basis of the merit of the Common Admission Test (CAT) that was conducted by the Indian Institute of Management‟s on a rotational basis.
- The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of prepared on the basis of normalized CAT score for its admissions.

Ques. Does mere appearance in the entrance test ensure selection/counseling?
Ans. No, merely appearing for IPU CET does not ensure that a candidate gets to appear for the counseling session for admission into GGS IPU programs. Candidates need to score at least the specific Cut off score in order to be eligible to be shortlisted for the counseling process. The cut off list is released separately for all the academic programs offered by the university.
Ques. Which documents does one need to carry for document verification?
Ans. The following documents must be submitted at the time of verification:

Ans. IPU CET Counseling fees can be paid both online and offline. Online payment can be made from the applicant login on the official website, via Payment Gateway, using Net Banking/Debit or Credit Cards.
In case of offline payment, a cash challan can be downloaded from the applicant login on the official website, details filled in and cash deposited at the bank/branch specified on the challan.
Ques. Is there any fee for Counseling?
Ans. Candidates shortlisted for counseling need to pay a non-refundable counseling fee of INR. 1000/- in either online or offline mode.

Remarks:
The admission process for GGSIPU is conducted through GGSIP counseling. The counseling process is conducted online and candidates have to register on the official website of GGSIPU. Entrance is through JEE mains exam and cut off of ADGITM in the CSE branch is max 160000 side Delhi and 60000 outside Delhi. Overall, the admission process for GGSIP is quite easy and straightforward forward and the info is available on the official website.

You have to give the joint etrance examination for applying for this particular course. You find that particular form on site of ggsipu. First you have to enroll then you have to enroll for the counselling process and then you have allotted the college.

Admission got through jee mains national exam it is under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and have to apply for ipucet counseling through the IP University website, the admission is on a merit basis but there is still a management quota through which one can apply for 10% of seats are reserved for management quota

The eligibility of the course is you have to give CLAT exam. The application form is available on the IPU website and the application fees are mentioned on the website according to the courses. Reservation is beneficial if a student wants to student loan and many more. Nothing as such to e see in the admissions process.

Dr akhilesh das college is a very good choice for legal studies . 8t has the biggest campus among all the IPU colleges. In fact, the college has a very good court for practicing. The teachers and the faculty are also very well experienced and focus on providing quality content and quality education.

Which is better ECE at NIEC IPU or EEE at MAIT IPU? In terms of placement.
Ans
It is a bitter truth about the IPU that no college offers placements to the students. You will need to depend on yourself for building different skills through short-term courses, internships, or working on different projects.
But in general, MAIT is a reputed college where you can pursue EEE and there is no attendance issue in the college. It also has a good reputation among the IPU colleges. The average CTC offered at the institute is around 3 LPA.
I have few friends at MAIT and based on the reviews I got from them I will suggest you go for their EEE course. But don’t entirely demand the institute for opportunities.

Which is better IT at NIEC or EEE at MAIT?
Ans
MAIT is one of the top ten colleges in Delhi and is amongst the top 100 colleges in India for pursuing a BTech degree. Although NIEC holds no such ranking, the management and infrastructure of the college are at the same level as MAIT.
Admission Criteria:
There are three rounds for admission. For taking admission in these colleges, students must sit for the JEE Main examination and the prerequisite for admission is a minimum of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2.
NIEC- The IT department at NIEC has a total of 180 seats out of which 85% are reserved for Delhi candidates.
The college has a general cut-off of 14, 9262 for students residing in Delhi and 87727 for out-of-state students.
The cut-off for SC/ST/OBC is 585015.
MAIT- The EEE department at MAIT also has 180 seats out of which 85% are reserved for Delhi candidates.
The college has a general cut-off of 154753 for students residing in Delhi and 63215 for out-of-state students.
The cut-off for SC/ST/OBC for students in Delhi is 615460 and outside Delhi is 461051.
Placement Details:
NIEC-
The placement of the IT department at NIEC is better than the other core departments of the college.
The average salary offered is 2 LPA, while the highest is 6.5 LPA.
In 2020 more than 60% of the students got placed in companies like Infosys, Wipro, Samsung, Amazon.
Students of this department have to look for off-campus internships on their own as the college plays no role in providing internships.
MAIT- The placement of the EEE department at MAIT is average.
The average salary is 3.5 LPA and the highest salary is 12 LPA.
Very few companies come to recruit students from the EEE department, and mostly the IT and CSE departments are favored. Companies like Accenture, Infosys visit the campus placements.
Internships are not provided by the college, but students can contact its placement cell for guidance.
More than 47% of the students got placed in 2020 from EEE.
Both the colleges have excellent infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, libraries, and updated laboratories. MAIT has additional housing and gym facilities which are not provided by NIEC. The course curriculums of IT and EEE departments at NIEC and MAIT are not updated, and there is less industry exposure. The tuition fee for IT at NIEC and EEE at MAIT for four years is 3.87 and 4.69 respectively.
