Smart Classrooms: The college has developed spacious, well-maintained, and ventilated lecture halls on its campus. All the classrooms are well-resourced with amenities like LCD projectors, comfortable seating arrangements, audio-video devices, and the latest technologies. Lecture halls are also used to conduct governmental/non-governmental exams during Vacation and Leave time. All the operations of both the Central Library and Information Centre are completely automated and computerized through KOHA Open-Source Software.
The facility has a seating capacity of 200+ people. Other facilities and services available in the library are free internet access, computerized issue and return of books, project reports service, photocopy and printing services, and a book bank facility for underprivileged candidates. The library remains open between 8:30 AM to 6.30 PM on all working days and closed on all holidays. There is also a separate reading and discussion room in the library and the college has subscribed to DELNET. Apart from the central library, every department of MCET has its own library.
Computer Center: This state-of-the-art facility aims to improve the IT Skills of young minds and make them digitally proficient. All the 659 latest computer systems installed here have the required software and hardware as per AICTE guidelines, and 524 PCs are dedicatedly allotted to students. In addition to this, all the departments have Internet, LCD projectors, overhead projectors, printers, and scanning facilities. The computer center is equipped with uninterrupted power backup and has 4 servers in total. Cafeteria: A spacious, full-fledged, and aesthetically developed Canteen is there on the campus of MGCET. It aims to provide delicious, nutrition-rich, and freshly cooked food and snacks to both students and staff members at an affordable price.
