Methodist College of Engineering & Technology offers Bachelor of Engineering degree course in five specializations.

Minimum eligibility for admission is 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics as optional subjects. Admission is granted on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in TS EAMCET entrance examination.

The college also offers BE Lateral admission to candidates who have pass Diploma in Engineering/ Technology. Admission will be given on the basis of TS ECET entrance exam.

Key Points:

• TS EAMCET will be conducted online and a total of 160 questions will be asked. Of these 80 questions will be of Math and 40 each in Chemistry and Physics will be asked.
• The duration of the exam is of 3 hours.
• Minimum age of candidates applying must be 16 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
• Also those candidates applying must be of Indian Nationality and should belong to the state of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh.
• The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements.
• Those candidates who have studied in educational institutes of the Telangana state for a period of not less than four consecutive academic years are considered as local candidates.

At Postgraduate level, the college offers ME and MBA course of two-year duration. ME course is offered in three disciplines. Candidates applying for ME course must have done B.E / B.tech course or its equivalent in the concerned discipline.

Selection to ME courses is on the basis of TS – PGECET entrance exam or GATE score.

While filling up the seats, first preference will be given to candidates having valid GATE score card in the relevant field and if the seat remains vacant then it will be filled with the candidates qualified in TS PGECET as per their merit ranks.

Minimum Eligibility for admission to MBA course is Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. For admission to MBA course candidates should have passed TS ICET entrance exam.
