Important Updates for MIET} }

MIET BTech admissions are based on JEE Main score 2024 followed by UPTAC Counselling. MIET BTech admissions 2024 registration deadline has been extended till December 04. MIET UG and PG admissions are based on CUET UG and CUET PG scores. NTA has declared the CUET UG and CUET PG exam dates. The CUET UG and CUET PG 2024 exams will be held from May 15 to May 31, and from March 11 to March 28, 2024 respectively.

Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 1997. Affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University, it is a UGC and AICTE-approved institute that ranks among the top engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. It has a ‘B++’ accreditation from NAAC, and two of its courses have been accredited by the NBA.

MIET was ranked the 69th best engineering college by Outlook India, and 83rd by Dataquest. The college is highly focused on skill-building: it frequently holds free-of-cost programmes to enhance corporate skills.

MIET offers eight specializations under the B. Tech course, four under the M. Tech course, and four under the vocational course. Besides, it also offers B. Pharm, M. Pharm, MBA, MCA and Applied Science Engineering courses.

To apply for B. Tech, a candidate should have passed 10+2 with PCM with 60% marks and taken the JEE- Main for selection. To apply for M. Tech, a candidate should have a B. Tech degree in the relevant field. In certain cases, an M. Sc degree is also valid. In addition, they have to take the GATE for selection.

For B. Pharm, a candidate requires 60% marks in 10+2 in the Science stream; they also need to take the UPSEE for selection purposes. For M. Pharm, a B. Pharm degree is required with 50% marks.

For MBA, a candidate requires 50% marks in graduation, in addition to good marks in the CAT or MAT. For MCA, 50% marks in graduation and Mathematics as a compulsory subject is essential, besides a valid UPSEE score card.

MIET offers four specializations under the M. Tech course. Interested candidates should have a B. Tech degree in the relevant field with 50% marks, or an M. Sc degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Application. For selection, taking the GATE is a must.

MIET MBA Admission 2023

id="mb"Graduates with 50% marks can apply to MIET for the MBA course. They will be selected on the basis of their performance in the CAT or MAT.

How to apply for CAT?

Read the given instructions
Fill in all the necessary details to complete CAT 2019 registration
Enter the OTP and validate it
Click on ‘I Agree’ and submit. A message will be sent to the registered mobile number containing the password, and an email will be sent containing the User ID
After the CAT registration is successful, a unique login ID and a password will be generated. These are vital for filling out the CAT application form.
Click on ‘Go to Application Form’ and fill out the form.
The fee for the form is 1,900 INR, which is to be paid online.

MIET MCA Admission 2023

Students who have a graduate degree in any field can apply for MCA, provided they have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level. For selection, they have to take the UPSEE.

I will suggest any Engineering aspirant choose Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology over other Engineering colleges. Some strong points that work in favor of my suggestion are

A central and seven departmental placement offices work hard and have resulted in excellent placement scenarios
The laboratories are sponsored by the government and therefore are well equipped with industry-supported equipment
A learned pool of over 400 faculty members is available to take care of the educational needs of the huge batch size of 6000 students
Many Special Skill Enhancement Centers that have been established by reputed industries such as BOSCH, SIEMENS, FESTO, AMAZON, Wipro and TCS have made it possible to connect academics with industries.
Several personality and aptitude development programs are held around the year to ensure the overall grooming of the students.
Many competitions are conducted every year in collaboration with the Government Of India enterprises and Popular media houses like Dainik Jagran. These ensure maximum exposure and talent enhancement.

Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) Greater Noida, is one of the popular technical colleges and has been accredited with Grade "A" by NAAC. The institute ranked at 1st position in Greater Noida and at 6th position in North India for its Engineering faculty.
