MITE college review (1st year)

What I Liked

Professors are very helpful and try to help us if we have any problem.
Cleanliness is maintained in college everyday.
Hostel and mess is also maintained properly everyday.

What I didn’t like

They charge fees to conduct various programs even if we are not participating in the program.
College canteen (not hostel mess) needs some improvement in hygeine and cleanliness.

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placements after 6th semester. Compared to last year, the results of this year's placement were not good, probably due to the current market scenario. Only a few students got placed in companies this year, and, according to my current knowledge, the highest package received by a student this year was ?36lpa by a Japanese company, and the student is from Civil Engineering. This package is the highest package the college has ever received.

Internships Opportunities:

I am still in first year as of now, so I do not know much about the internships and the companies that participate and all. I also do not know much about the stipend the companies pay, and the projects and outcomes of the internships.

What I Liked

THE FACULTY RESPONSE TO THE SUDTENTS REQUIREMENTS .
THE TEACHING SKILLS OF EACH AND EVERY FACULTY
THE EXTRA CARE SHOWED FOR THE STUDENTS BY ALL THE FACULTY IN COLLEGE

What I didn’t like

THINGS I DISLIKE IS THE LUNCH TIMINGS FOR THE STUDENTS
THE FAN FACILITIES AT GROUND FLOOR DOESNT GET ENOUGH AIR AT SUMMER
NO EXTRA SPORTS FOR GIRLS AT COLLEGE AND HEALTHY FOOD AT FOOD COURT

Placement Experience:

IN THIS COLLEGE MAXIMUM PLACEMENTS ARE GAINED . THE HIGHEST PLACEMENT THIS YEAR IS PACKAGE OF 50LAKH . THERE ARE FEW ABROAD PLACEMENT PLACED LIKE JAPAN AND USA COMPANIES. ALMOST ALL THE STUDETS GET PLACEMENTS .

Internships Opportunities:

THERE ARE MANY INTERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE I SEEE MANY OF OUR SENIORS GOING FOR INSTERSHIP . THE CAMPUS ITSELF PROVIDE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE ALL STUDENTS .AS I AM 1ST YEAR STUDENT I DONT KNOW EXACLTY THE COMPANY NAME OF INTERSHIP.

The College Entry

What I Liked

I really liked the ambiance of our college
I really appreciate the way our college is maintained
Our college's hostels are clean and tidy

What I didn’t like

I didn't like the way the fees are structured
We don't have many cultural programs like other colleges
Many of the faculties and staffs use Kannada as their medium

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities are verily available in our college. Companies like Vipro Amazon Flipkart provides internship opportunities in our college with minimum stipend of two to three lakhs per annum.
