The aspiring candidates seeking admission in the college for its various UG and PG courses must visit the official website of the college http://jec.ac.in.
In addition to this, the candidates have to register themselves for TNEA/ TANCET/ GATE on the respective official websites to obtain the Admit card for the entrance examinations.
To apply for admission in the college, here are enlisted the steps to be followed –
- Visit the official website of the college http://jec.ac.in and click the Admission tab.
- Download the application form and take its print-out.
- Fill the application form correctly.
- Affix the passport sized photograph at the designated places in the application form.
- Attach the documents listed below –
- 10th & 10+2 mark sheets and passing certificate (5 attested copies)
- Diploma mark sheet and passing certificate (5 attested copies)
- Bachelor’s degree and mark sheet (5 attested copies)
- Transfer Certificate (5 attested copies)
- Migration Certificate (2 attested copies)
- Community Certificate, if applicable (5 attested copies)
- Physical Fitness Certificate (2 attested copies)
- Eligibility Certificate from the University (for candidates of foreign nationals/ other states) (3 attested copies)
- Passport sized photographs – 05
- Self-addressed Postal Cover - 03
- Submit the application form along with the aforementioned documents at the admission office of the college.
For NRI Category –
The aspirants applying under this category must have passed higher secondary/ any other examination equivalent thereto. The NRI who is going to financially support should either be a parent/ legal guardian as declared by the Court under ‘The Guardians Wards Act, 1890’.
Here are enlisted the additional documents that must be attached with the application form to apply for admission –
- Sponsorship Letter
- Attested photocopy of passport of financial supporter
- Attested photocopy of Bank Statement of Financial Supporter
- A Demand Draft of USD 1000 from the Financial Supporter and its receipt of payment
- Employer Certificate of Financial Supporter
- Embassy Certificate of Financial Supporter
- Relationship and Nativity Certificate of Financial Supporter from the Local Taluk Office.
- All the other documents mentioned above.
For Foreign Nationals –
The applicants of foreign nations who are eligible for admission as per the prescribed criteria must attach the following documents with the application form to apply for admission –
- Original Passing certificate and syllabus of the qualifying examination
- Equivalency certificate issued by the concerned University/ Institution
- Migration Certificate
- Eligibility certificate from Anna University
- NOC from MHRD, New Delhi
- Passport of the applicant along with the passports copies of the parents
- Clearance certificate from the competent authority
Note – The candidates must carry the Original Documents at the time of admission for verification purposes.
