IPEC B.Tech Eligibility
The candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board with 45%.
OR
Passed 10+2 level of examination with 45%
OR
It’s equivalent from any recognized Board with compulsory subjects- Physics and Mathematics and one optional subject as Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology.
IPEC B.Tech Admission Process
Admissions into the B.TECH course at IPEC Ghaziabad is through the UP. State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). 85% of the total intake is filled through the UPSEE. From this
- 75% of the seats are allocated to candidates who have passed intermediate exams from the UP boardOR
- Are wards of parents who are domicile of UP and have passed 10+2 from any recognized board/university.
- 10% of the seats are allocated to candidates who have passed the qualifying exams from an institution located outside UP and are wards of parents who are not domicile of UP.
- 15% of the total intake is to be filled by Direct Admissions under management quota. This includes candidates who:
- have secured merit positions in JEE
- are daughter/son/real brother/real sister of NRIs and have passed qualifying examinations
- have not appeared for UPSEE but have secured 50% (without grace marks) in Physics and Mathematics and one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject, in recognized 10+2 examinations or UP. board examinations
- An additional 5% of the intake will be allocated to those eligible for Fee Waiver by way of Economic disadvantage. Such candidates will be selected via UPSEE counseling based on merit.
- Lateral Entry into B.Tech 2nd year is also possible via the UPSEE examination. The cap for this is set at 20% of the 1st year intake for each course.
Where to Apply?
The student needs to apply for college by filling the online application form. After that, students must submit the application form by paying the fees.
The students will then have to appear for UPSEE. After the declaration of UPSEE result, students would be called for further counseling. The students need to carry all mandatory documents at the time of final admission.
