Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College - [GNDEC]: 4 answered questions

Ques
My friend has got 77K AIR in JEE Main. He wanted to know if he should go for GNDU Amritsar or GNE Ludhiana?

● Top Answer By Sagardeep on 02 Mar 23

Ans
You are considering pursuing either mechanical engineering or electrical engineering. We highly recommend you consider GNE Ludhiana. The Amritsar Campus of GNDU only offers three B.Tech streams: Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, and Urban Planning. However, the mechanical and civil engineering streams are available at the regional campus of Sathiala and were established in the 2014 batch. The faculty for Computer Science and Electronics at GNDU is exceptional. However, it is important for you to research placement statistics and other relevant information before making a final decision. If your rank is 77k, there may be a slight chance for you to get into mechanical engineering at GNE. However, there is an option for you to change streams after one year if there are any vacant seats in your preferred department.

Ques
How is the education and placement in the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Ludhiana of a BTech for computer science engineering?

● Top Answer By Radhika Saini on 22 Oct 21

Ans
One of my friends studied at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College of Ludhiana. According to him, they are not up to the mark. The placements occur when the students of the college focus and prepare themselves for that.  The students studying at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana do not belong to the professional environment and do not have good communication skills.  Most of the students are from the native places and some of them come from villages.  The communication skills, hence, will not be improved if one decides to study at this institute.  Although, education depends on the capability of the student. So if you are confident about yourself and can manage your education on your own no matter how the college is, then Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College of Ludhiana is the appropriate place for you.

Ques
Which is the better college, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College or the Gulzar Group of Institutes?

● Top Answer By Gaurav Rai, on 16 Nov 21

Ans
Among Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) or the Gulzar Group of Institutes, it is suggested you go for GNDEC. GNDEC is a Punjab Government aided institute. Their faculty comprises highly experienced members, who are cooperative as well. Placements are really good at GNDEC. CSE, IT, and ECE departments are known to have better placements than Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical. They provide the best lab facilities for the core branches in the state of Punjab. Therefore if you want to build your career ahead by dedicating your time to studies then GNDEC will be a better option. But if you want a college life full of fests, events, and activities Gulzar Group of Institutes will be good.

Ques
Which is better CGC landran or GNE Ludhiana?

● Top Answer By Prashant Mishra on 16 Sept 22

Ans
Among these, GNE Ludhiana is better. It is an old college with good industry reach. The core branches of the university are pretty good. GNE curriculum is updated according to the current industry trends. It has a good placement record, especially for branches such as CSE and IT. GNE Ludhiana placement highlights of recent years show the highest CTC to be INR 10 LPA.
