Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:

• Candidate should have passed the final examination of the Intermediate, 10+2 system or its equivalent. Those appearing in the Intermediate final or equivalent examination may also appear in the entrance examination for consideration of provisional admission. 

Entrance Exam:

• Admission in GCE is made through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The first stage is the screening test. The screened candidates appear in the mains Examination (second stage). Based on the Merit List of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (2nd stage), successful candidates have to go through counseling (third stage). The candidates desirous of seeking Admission in GCE are advised to appear in Screening & Main Examination of B.C.E.C.E.
