Eligibility

Selection Criteria

• The admission is based on the Merit lists released by JEE Mains. It releases two lists, one for the Odisha State candidates and the other for all over India.
• 75% of the seats are reserved for State candidates and the other 25% of the seats are open for students all over India, where students of Odisha and India can compete.
• Moreover, to facilitate students who did not appear for JEE Mains, OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) is also conducted to get admission into B.Tech.

The candidate must have completed B.Tech/ B.E from any recognized university with CGPA 6.5 or a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

Selection Criteria

• Admission is granted on the basis of marks scored in B.Tech/BE examination or on the merit list of GATE Exam.
• Preference is given to candidates having a valid GATE score.
• The students without GATE have to appear for an online exam conducted by the college.

GITA Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar offers a three year full time course of MCA with an intake of 60 students. The duration of the course is 3 years. Graduation degree holder can apply for admission to the course.

Eligibility

• The candidates must have completed Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category).
• The candidates must have completed XII standard or Graduation with Mathematics as their subject.
• Apart from this, the candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree in the field of BCA, B. Sc. (IT/ Computer Science/IST/ITM), from any recognized University as per UGC, are eligible for Lateral entry directly to 2nd year of MCA.

Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates for MCA degree is done through entrance test only. For State candidates, one has to appear for OJEE.
