Well, according to the information I have received from my friends enrolled in both the institutes, I would say that both of these institutes are not that good.  The teaching methodologies used are extremely bad, and the alumni network of both colleges is utterly awful. If you have a good academic record and are good at understanding concepts then do not consider these colleges. I believe that you should work on yourself and improve your skills and knowledge to become an engineer. You can opt for a drop year and prepare for the JEE Examinations of the following year. Study for a minimum of 3-4 months so that you can at least be eligible for admission at a decent institute, better than these two. Ensure that you have the appropriate knowledge from the 10+2 education, before applying for admission at colleges.
