B.K. Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology (BKBIET) is an engineering college located at Pilani, Rajasthan, India. BKBIET was established in the year of 2007. It is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi.

The institute offers four-year degree course in the field of Engineering and Technology focusing on the five major departments: Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. All the courses are approved by AICTE.

Admission to the B.Tech degree program is done through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) .

  • Some seats are reserved for Management quota.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks in the eligibility criteria will be given to the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories.

BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology (BKBIET) B.Tech Admission 2023

BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology (BKBIET) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in five major specializations of Engineering viz. Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering.

For admission in  the B.Tech program at BKBIET, candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in aggregate of these subjects.

  • There are three Categories of admission: Management, JEE Main (Outside Rajasthan) and JEE Main (Rajasthan).
    • 15% of the sanctioned intake is filled through Management Quota. Under Management category (candidates must sit for JEE Main, irrespective of score), candidates have to apply on the prescribed attached format along with necessary documents.
    • 15% intake is filled by JEE (Main) aspirants – Outside Rajasthan students ONLY. Under JEE Main (Outside Rajasthan) category, the candidate must be of outside Rajasthan and should appear JEE Main and should fill on-line counseling form as per the notification of “Coordinator”. 
    • 70% seats are filled through JEE Main Scores – Rajasthan Domicile ONLY. Under JEE Main (Rajasthan) category, the candidate must be from Rajasthan, should appear JEE Main and should fill on-line counseling form as per the notification of “Coordinator”.

For admission under Management Quota, candidates need to pass 10+2 level examination with subject combination of Physics, Mathematics and one of (Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Computer Science). The students with good JEE (Mains) / XII Scores are eligible in this category and the selection is made by the admission authority, REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) Coordinator. Students admitted through this scheme have an advantage of complete Tuition Fee Waiver for the full 4 years duration of the course.

Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1990 are eligible.

  • Application downloaded from website, should be filled legibly with neat writing and  submitted with Registration Form Cost Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) in the form of Demand Draft favoring BKBIET- Pilani payable at Pilani only.
  • Incomplete form or form without copy of Mark-Sheet of qualifying exam will merely be rejected.

Remarks:

The admission process is quite easy and simple. The admission fee is 1000 which is quite affordable for every middle-class family and technical backgrounds people. If you want to take admitted to our college then you can apply in the month of August.

Remarks:

The admission process is quite simple and easy friendly. You can apply for admission at the admission counter which is in the main building of our college. The fee for admission is 1000 rs. Which is too high for the middle class

Remarks:

You must be 12th pass to take admitted to this college. Admission forms are available at the Admission counter and during the month of August and September, you can apply for the Admission process. Which is fast and fluent.

Firstly you must be 12th pass to join our college. You will find the application form at the Admission counter during the time of Admission. You can apply for Admission after your 12th in the months of August and September.

Remarks:

My selection in CSE was based on my percentage in mains which is 67 percent. And many people from Rajasthan applied through their marks in Rajasthan exams. The process was easy, I applied online and received a call from the college and the necessary details were given regarding the admission.

Remarks:

Admission is basically done on the basis of JEE Main Entrance Examination followed by Rajasthan Engineering Admission Procedure (REAP). The Application for BKBIET is available on the college Website. No Reservation.

Remarks:

Admission to the program is mainly basis on JEE Mains Score and follows Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process. The application form is available on the official website of BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pilani. Rajasthan Domicile(70%), other state(15%), management quota(15%). I want to see that the cut-off that they want should be higher.
