B. K. Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pilani was established in 2007 under Krishnarpan Charity Trust. It is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institute has made notable contributions through his social and institutional activities & takes active part in their working. The mission of the college is to build an effervescent community of engineers, where faculty and students are associates in a mutually inspirational education process, engrossed in learning. The vision of the college is to build a truly different institution of engineering and technology in Rajasthan, an institution with a marked difference in quality to serve the local people in global arena.

Available for both boys and girls students separately. These hostels are built on an area of 31200 sq. ft. each giving quixotic and modern looks. The hostel rooms are 02 seater and 03 seater capacity. |

Events & Festivals
- BASANT - The students of the college host a seven-day inter-college cultural fest. It is celebrated in the month of April/May every year.
- QUASAR - The five day inter-college techno-sports fest of the college. It is celebrated in the month of October/ November every year. Basketball, Volleyball,Football, Cricket and Tennis are the key events of Quasar along with them chess, street football, langdi tang, power lifting etc. are part of Quasar.
Scholarship & Awards
- Aditya Birla Memorial Merit Awards - This scholarship is awarded to students having excellence in academics, Branch Toppers and the Overall Toppers.
International Scholarship
- Eiffel Scholarships - This scholarship is awarded to meritorious students who show inclination towards working in industry oriented jobs. The grant comprises of a monthly allowance of 1181 Euros (approximately One Lac Rupees) along with return fares to the country of origin of the candidate and many such other perks.
- Erasmus Mundus Scholarships - This scholarship is awarded in the field of ‘Data Mining and Knowledge Management’ by the European Union. This amounts to 10,000 euros per year for two consecutive years.
- Alliance Francaise Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to meritorious students who show inclination towards higher studies at France. The grant comprises of a monthly allowance of 615 Euros (approximately 40 thousand rupees) along with a social coverage.
