Dr. HLT College of Pharmacy B.Pharm & Lateral Entry Admission 2023

The college offers admissions into four-year degree program of B.Pharm and Lateral Entry based on merit and availability of seats.

Candidates need to pass two-year P.U.C Examination of Karnataka/P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of a recognized board with minimum 40% marks in aggregate. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology are required as compulsory subjects to be eligible.

For PCMB, the aggregate of PCM or PCB (whichever is higher) will be taken into consideration.

Key points:

Lateral Entry Admissions need one year of D.Pharm after PUC. However, marks obtained in subjects of A.P and H.E will not be taken into consideration for calculating the merit.
D.Pharm holders from institutions approved by PCI need an aggregate of 60% marks for Lateral Entry Admissions.
SC/ST candidates need minimum 35% in PCB or PCM to become eligible.

Dr. H.L.Thimmegowda College offers a two-year course of D.Pharm. Candidates need to pass any of the following examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as compulsory subjects:

Candidates can opt for an M.Pharm course offered by Dr. HLT College, of Pharmacy, Ramanagaram. Any of the following qualifications make a candidate eligible for admission:

Candidates possessing B. Pharm degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).
B. Pharm degree from any other recognized university or any other degree course in Pharmacy considered equivalent by RGUHS/PCI and /or AICTE.
