Karnataka College of Pharmacy was established by the Karnataka Education Trust in the year 2004. It is one of the most reputed institutes well known for imparting pharmacy education and training the students for patient care and service to the community. It is located in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Pharm-D, Pharm-D Post Baccalaureate, M.Pharm, B.Pharm and D.Pharm are the courses which the university offers. To be eligible for B.Pharm, candidates must have passed two years P.U.C examination of Karnataka P.U.C Board or any equivalent examination of any approved Board or university by scoring at least 40% aggregate marks in any combination comprising P.C.M or P.C.B. The eligibility criterion for M.Pharm is B.Pharm degree examination of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with at least 55% marks.
For D.Pharm, the candidate must have passed intermediate examination in science/ 10+2 examination in science or pre- degree examination. For Pharm.D, the candidate must have passed 10+2 examinations with PCM/ PCB. Pharm.D. (Post Baccalaureate) requires the candidate to be a B.Pharm pass.

KCP Bangalore Admission
For B.Pharm and B.Pharm lateral entry, admission is done on the basis of KCET scores. Admission to M.Pharm is done on the basis of GPAT Score. Even for Pharm.D- Post Baccalaureate admission, the selection criterion is GPAT Score while for D.Pharm, admissions are done on the basis of merit in qualifying examination. Those clearing the applicable entrance exam shall be eligible for counselling.
