IHM Chennai UG Admission will be done based on the NCHMCT JEE 2024. As per the official website, the exam will be conducted on May 24 and the registrations will be done between Feb 24 - May 24, 2024. Interested candidates can check the official website @nchmct.info for further details.

IHM, Chennai offers Diploma, PG Diploma, B.Sc at UG level, and at PG level they offer M.Sc. and Craftsmanship certificate courses in different disciplines of hotel management.

For UG level courses B.Sc. in Hotel and Hospital Administration, the candidate must have scored 50% marks in 10+2 with English as one of the compulsory subjects.
The selection in B.Sc. is based on NCHMCT-JEE and the performance in the interview.
The admission in M.Sc. Hospital Administration requires candidates to have secured a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Hospital Administration/ Hotel Management from a recognized university.
The selection in M.Sc. is based on NCHM-JEE and the performance in the interview.
For admission in Diploma courses, the candidate must have scored 50% marks in 10+2 and for PG Diploma courses; the candidate must have scored 50% marks in bachelor’s degree with English as one of the subjects respectively.

Ques. Does IHMCT conduct admission through any other process for B.Sc?

Ans. No, there is no other process to take admission to IHM for the B.Sc program; selection of candidates shall be done purely on rank obtained in NCHMCT Joint Entrance Examination.

Ques. Is hostel available for college students inside the campus?

Ans. Yes, there is a residential hostel facility inside the campus; all students (Boys and Girls) admitted for the regular courses can stay in the hostel, 3 students are accommodated in one room. There is a separate hostel for Boys and Girls.

Ques. On what criteria IHM Chennai provide scholarships?

Ans. Institute provides a scholarship for their students based on their family annual income (Not more than 1Lakh annual income) and also on performance-based.
