Army Institute of Fashion and Design was established in the year 2004 and is located in Bangalore, Karnataka. Only the children of eligible serving army personnel, eligible ex-army personnel and wards of war widows/ widows of the army are eligible to apply for the courses offered by AIFD. The college is affiliated to Bangalore North University.
The college offers B.Sc. in Fashion and Apparel Design course at the under graduate level. Army Institute of Fashion and Design also offers M.Sc. ATM in Fashion and Apparel Design.

Candidates who have completed their 10+2 under any stream, having scored minimum 35% marks in the final examination are eligible to apply for the B.Sc. course at AIFD.
- Seats to the B.Sc. course will be allotted based on the candidates’ performance in a Written Admission Test (WAT) conducted by the college for under graduate applicants.
- Candidates who are graduates in Science / Engineering under the fashion design or a related stream with minimum 35% in the qualifying degree examination are eligible to apply for the Post Graduate Diploma course at AIFD.
- Seats to the Post Graduate Diploma course will be allotted based on candidates’ performance in the Common Admission Test (CAT), conducted by the college.
