Library: The Institute Library is well-stocked with books and journals on management, computers, fashion, textiles, and apparel. It also has scanning, reprographic, and wi-fi internet connectivity capabilities. AIFD has subscriptions to several national and international journals and magazines. Patternmaking & Sewing Lab: There are two labs, one on the first floor and one on the ground floor, each with 30 industrial sewing machines. Students receive practical instruction on these devices. Furthermore, computerized sewing machines are available for specialized tasks.

CAD/IT Lab: The CAD Lab has over 50 PC systems including 40 PC systems exclusively for design applications with software like – Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator and Corel Draw which enhance the illustration skills of the students. 20 PC systems are earmarked for specialized training in GERBER, CAD and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).

Quality Control Lab: All necessary quality tests for fiber, yarn, fabric, clothing, and accessories can be carried out in the QC lab. The lab is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment that meets industry standards, and students receive training on all of it so they are prepared to take on responsibility as soon as they enter the workforce.

Visual Merchandizing & Draping Lab: AIFD is the only Fashion Institute in the country to have a full-fledged Visual Merchandising Lab. This includes VM Windows, with mannequins, spotlights and prop-making materials.

Fashion Photography Lab: Given that fashion photography is becoming a crucial component of fashion curricula and is necessary for e-commerce and fashion styling, the institute has established a cutting-edge photography lab with the newest tools and cameras.
