IIHR Bangalore Ph.D. in Horticulture Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in plant pathology from a recognized university
He/she must not be working below the rank of assistant professor or scientist in ICAR.
They should score at least 60% aggregate (general category) and 55% aggregate for reserved candidates (SC/ST) in their Master’s degree.
The students must be at least 21 years of age at the time of admission.

IIHR Bangalore Ph.D. in Horticulture Selection Criteria

The selection of the candidates is on the basis of academic records, entrance examination and interview.
10% weightage would be given to the marks secured by the candidate in their previous educational qualifications.
80% weightage would be given to the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination. To qualify for the interview the minimum marks required by the candidate are 50% for general and 45% for reserved category students.
Those qualifying the entrance examination shall be called for the interview. Four candidates will be interviewed for every one seat and the best one shall be shortlisted.
