Aspirants seeking admission into this course should have passed Graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university.
- Only female candidates are eligible for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics & Applied Nutrition (PGDDAN) course.
- Candidates must have good knowledge of the English language.
- A student seeking admission to PGDDAN of the Institute must have passed B.Sc (Hons.) in Home Science, Home Science (specialization in Food & Nutrition), Food & Nutrition/Food Science & Nutrition Management, Food Science & Processing, Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Physiology, Bio-chemistry either from Jadavpur University or any other University recognized by Jadavpur University and must have at least 55% at the Bachelor’s level.
- A candidate who has appeared in the examination at the under-graduate (degree) level may also apply in anticipation of the results, provided she produces her internal assessment showing the overall average marks obtained by her. The admission would be provisional subject to subsequent satisfaction of the admission criteria.
- Foreign Students may be admitted as Jadavpur University norms.
Admission will be based on the marks obtained at the under-graduate level.
