Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission into this course should have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.

Note:

Only female candidates are eligible for admission.
Candidates must have good knowledge of the English language.
A student seeking admission to three year B.Sc (Hons.) in Interior Designing of the Institute must have passed the 10+2 examination of any recognized Board / Council recognized by Jadavpur University in four recognized subjects of which at least one is English and securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate. Selection of the subjects will be based on the course opted for and shall be at the discretion of the Management.
Foreign Students may be admitted as per Jadavpur University norms.

Admission Guidelines

Admission will be based on the marks obtained in best four core subjects in the Class-XII board examination of which at least one must be English.

Which is better, J. D. Birla or Shri Shikshayatan College in Kolkata?

I have friends from both J.D Birla and Shri Shikshayatan College. According to their experience, I will that you should choose one of these institutes based on the course you want to pursue. Shri Shikshayatan College is a good option if you want to pursue any Commerce degree. The faculty base for Commerce is quite good. On the other hand, J.D. Birla is well-known for its home-science honours course.
