Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission into this course should have passed Graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university.
- Only female Candidates are eligible for admission to the M.Com courses.
- Candidates must have good knowledge of the English language.
- A student seeking admission to the M.Com course must have B.Com (Hons.) from Jadavpur University or any other University recognized by Jadavpur University and must have at least 55% at the Bachelor’s level.
- A candidate who has appeared in the examination at the undergraduate (degree) level may also apply in anticipation of the results, provided she produces her internal assessment showing the overall average marks obtained by her.

I have friends from both J.D Birla and Shri Shikshayatan College. According to their experience, I will that you should choose one of these institutes based on the course you want to pursue. Shri Shikshayatan College is a good option if you want to pursue any Commerce degree. The faculty base for Commerce is quite good. On the other hand, J.D. Birla is well-known for its home-science honours course.
