To apply for admission, the candidates must visit the official website of the University of Burdwan.

1. Click on Apply Online
2. Fill in the registration form.
3. The candidates have to make an online application fee payment through credit card/ debit card/ net banking to fill the application form.
4. A merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. The Merit List 2020 shall be published on the college’s official website and the college notice board.
5. All those candidates whose name comes in the merit list shall be called for Syamsundar College Counselling 2020. There shall be separate counselling for General and Honours courses.
6. The candidates must carry the original and the attested copies of the required documents at counselling.

The students must carry the following documents along with attested copies for counselling:

1. Duly filled Application form
2. Payment receipt copy
3. Madhyamik Admit Card
4. Higher Secondary & Madhyamik Mark sheet
5. Passport size photographs
6. Character certificate
7. Caste certificate
8. Physically Handicapped Certificate
