Sonarpur Mahavidyalaya, West Bengal affiliated with University of Calcutta offers various undergraduate programs under the departments of Science, Arts, Music, and Commerce. The college is recognized by UGC and has accreditation from the NAAC.

Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to the deserving students who belong to economically backward families. The candidate should belong to a family whose annual income is not more than INR 2,50,000. The scholarship can be availed by the candidate based on the availability of the fund and the merit list.
