Rajdhani University is known to have the best Physics and Electronics and Mathematics department. Overall it is more popular for its science stream than arts or commerce.

  • If you are willing to study science, this is a good option for you.
  • Rajdhani College infrastructure is quite good, with a newly built science block that has all necessary modern facilities.
  • Their cafeteria is the best among all the DUs.
  • They have a huge playground almost equal to the college building.
  • It has the best location among all DU colleges. Situated near Raja garden flyover on Ring road. You can easily reach the college both from Ramesh Nagar and Rajouri Garden metro stations, which makes transportation easier.
  • The college has its own DTC bus stop near their main gate.
  • The sports facilities are not good here. Although they have many societies like music, debate, drama, mountaineering, etc.

Overall it is a good college, if you are unable to get admission in any other colleges in the northern region, you can go for it.

There is no such ranking procedure for the DU colleges. Also if you are going to take admission in a particular college do not go by the rank as all of them provide more or less the same campus experience.

If you want to choose a college, analyze factors like academics, faculty, exposure, placements, location, infrastructure, facilities provided and other opportunities.

Among Dyal Singh College (DSC) (morning) and Rajdhani College (morning), students usually prefer DSC rather than Rajdhani. This is due to the following reasons:

  • Mathematics at DSC is said to be the best in Delhi.
  • They have faculty members with more than 40 years of educational experience.
  • They are cooperative and will guide you through the subject's tougher portions.
  • The overall infrastructure and maintenance of the campus has improved a lot.
  • The college canteen provides healthy food items at a reasonable price.
  • Here you will be learning amongst some of the best minds.
  • The only thing that needs some improvement is the internet connection. The whole campus is wifi enabled but has several connectivity issues.
  • The placement is also good. They have a dedicated placement cell as well.

The science group in DSC is considered to be one of the best. They provide proper training and exposure which will ultimately help your career.

One of my friends studied at Rajdhani College. According to him, it is quite as similar as other DU colleges. It is located near Rajouri Garden Metro Station which makes the connectivity easy.

  • Rajdhani College has a big ground which is utilized for various purposes like sports, fests, etc.
  • Due to the close connectivity with Shivaji College, you are to witness a huge crowd of students.
  • Shivaji College is its close competitor which is nearby. You will enjoy life here at this college of DU irrespective of its status.
  • You can enjoy and get involved in fests of both the colleges for 3 years.
  • The infrastructure of DU colleges was never a highlight, but it is good enough for an educational institution.
  • They have an experienced faculty and an enthusiastic student crowd.
  • During your college days, try to take part in as many activities as you can, be it societies, clubs, sports, etc.

Placements at Rajdhani College might not be up to the mark, but they will provide proper guidance. If you work hard to score good marks, you can opt for off-campus placements also and secure a job.

Rajdhani college is said to be better than Aryabhatta and Satyawati if the crowd is considered.

Rajdhani is a very underrated college, students often ignore its capability of being a good institution. The crowd here is unlike what is usually pictured. They are highly knowledgeable and determined to their goals. They are hardworking and dedicated individuals who are also driven. Being a college under DU, their students are also highly competitive which creates a disciplined environment.

Like every other college they also have a mix of good and bad students, but due to the presence of the good students the others are encouraged to do good as well.

Among Rajdhani College and the College of Vocational Studies (CVS), it is suggested you go for the latter instead of the former. CVS is said to be one of the best colleges under DU.

Here are some facts about it:

  • The location of the college is great.
  • It has metro connectivity, its nearest station Malviya Nagar.
  • The sports ground of the college is huge.

At Rajdhani University Placement very few companies take part in the placement program. But after 2019, due to the efforts of the placement cell the condition gradually became better. Companies like EY, British Telecom, Amazon, Infosys, etc. are known to participate in the placement programs.

Categories Rajdhani College
Course Fee INR 67,000
Placement Percentage 50-60%
Highest CTC 5-6 LPA
Average CTC 2.5 LPA
Recruiting Companies Wipro, Tata, etc.

But if you solely want to join a college based on their placement records, go for any other college and not Rajdhani. If you think you will be able to get a job no matter the institution, then work hard in Rajdhani. You can later go for off-campus placements and secure a job role.
