Marwari College Ranchi UG Admission 2023

At the undergraduate level, Marwari College conducts numerous vocational courses in disparate fields like Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Application. All the undergraduate level courses are offered are 3 Years in duration.

For admission to any of the undergraduate courses, candidates must secure at least 45% marks in aggregate in the 10 + 2 or Intermediate or equivalent examination from any recognized School / University.

For admission to the B.Sc. (Hons.) IT & CA and BBA programs, the college conducts an entrance examination to shortlist the candidates. Selection for the rest of the courses will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Class 12th (Arts/ Science/ Commerce) in aggregate. Apply for UG Courses

Marwari College Ranchi PG Admission 2023

At the postgraduate level, Marwari College offers several career-oriented (professional) courses such as Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (M.Sc) and Master of Commerce (M.Com).

The MBA program is offered in four different areas of specialization. All the postgraduate programs are of 2 Years in duration. In order to meet the eligibility criteria of the PG programs, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university. Apply for PG Courses

For admission to the MBA program, candidates must have to secure at least 50% marks in aggregate of B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Com. (Hons.)/Equivalent from any recognized University. In addition, the candidate must hold valid score card of CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT.

Admission to the M.Com and M.Sc programs is done on the basis of merit in Bachelor’s degree level examination while for admission to the MCA program, candidates need to appear for an Entrance test which is conducted by Marwari College.

Completely filled forms should be submitted along with a DD for Rs. 500 (Rupees Four Hundred only) drawn in favor of Principal, Marwari College, Ranchi.
The admission form should be submitted at the Admission Office (in-person) OR sent through the post, which must reach to Principal's Office by the due date.
In case the forms are received after the due date, no application shall be entertained.

For a B.Com (hons), which college is best, St. Xavier’s, Ranchi or Marwari College?

St. Xavier’s College is an autonomous university. Classes and examinations are held regularly at the university. There is also a mandatory 75% attendance rule that you need to follow. If you want to take admission in B.Com (Hons), you need to have Mathematics in your 10+2. However, since it is a private college, the course fee is higher.

Marwari College is a Govt. college. The classes are held regularly. They also have a 75% attendance rule, but it can be adjusted. Sometimes examinations get delayed.

You can choose either of these two institutes according to your convenience.

How is the Marwari College in Ranchi if I have to study for a BA (H) in psychology?

Some of my friends attended Marwari College and according to their experience, it is average at best. Classes remain suspended most of the time. The infrastructure is not that good. The management is not proper. The faculty base is not that great, you will have to study on your own. If you have other better options go for it.
