Isabella Thoburn College also known as IT College is a private college, established in 1870 and is located in Lucknow in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Isabella Thoburn College is accredited by NAAC and is approved by AICTE and UGC. It is affiliated with the University of Lucknow and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes under science, commerce and arts stream.

Isabella Thoburn College B.L.I.Sc. & B.Ed. Admission 2023

The institute offers professional courses in B.L.I.Sc. and B.Ed. for a duration of one and two years respectively. The Bachelor of Library and Information Science is running under the University of Lucknow. Candidates need to have proficiency in the English language for this course. 

B.Ed. programme of the institute is only for the christian minority candidates.

How to Apply for Isabella Thoburn College?

The application process at the Institute is offline and students have to collect the application form from the registration desk of the institution. 

How to Apply:

  • Candidates are required to collect the registration form from the institute.
  • Candidates are required to fill the application form duly and correctly.
  • Candidates are further required to submit the application form fee viz, 600 Rs through bank draft.
  •  Candidates wishing to receive the admit card through post must pay additional sum of Rs. 50/- only to cover postage charges
  • For undergraduate programmes candidates have to go through an entrance test for admission.

  • A self-attested photostat copy of High-School and Intermediate/XII marksheet.
  • Two passport size photographs of the candidate (to be pasted on the application form). 
  • The photographs on the application form should be self attested.
  • Self attested photocopy of relevant document if privilege is sought.

Remarks:

I applied in my college first then as a option I applied in Lucknow University and in the karamat college . The results are getting delayed in my college and lucknow university so my parents wants a confirmation so they paid total first year fees in the karamat college that is 22000 rs. But late I got a call from Isabella Thouburn College that I got selected and I can confirm mt seat by completing the details and lock the seat so it was my dream college so I immediately locked my seat in the I T College and got admission in IT college. Later I got to know that I was also selected in Lucknow University but it was late ,i already got admission in the IT college. I choose IT College over other because I have heard so much good thing about this college . The environment was good the discipline was good ,these all things are that I had heard previous so I just picked this college. I got no rejection from any of the applied colleges as i scored more than enough in my 10 and 12. The admission process in IT college was that I firstly completed the registration then I given the entrance exam and after that I got a call that I cleared my exam and I got selected.
