Gangarampur College is a co-educational institution located in Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal. It was established in 1981 in Gargarampur and is affiliated to the University of Gour Banga.

Gangarampur College currently offers BA, B.Sc. and B.Com. General and Honors programs in various specializations along with a BCA program under the University of Gour Banga. The institute is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Govt. of West Bengal.

  • Application forms can be filled online through college website.
  • Candidates have to submit original documents and application form in the college at the time of counselling.
  • Candidates with vocational subjects at HS equivalent exam may apply for the BCA program.
  • Seats are allotted through counselling only.
  • Candidates applying for Honors in Economics must have Mathematics in H.S. or equivalent level.

Gangarampur College BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA Admission 2023

Gangarampur College offers undergraduate level degree programs in the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer Applications. BA(Hons) is offered in nine streams, BA(General) in 11 disciplines, B.Sc (Hons.) in PCM, Botany and B.Sc.(Pure Science) in PCM, B.Sc(Bio-Science) in PC, Zoology and Botany subjects.  For commerce students, specialization in Accountancy is provided under the B.Com. Honors program. The college also offers a BCA program.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam in the relevant discipline. For Honors courses, candidates must secure at least 45% marks in the last qualifying exam with 50% marks in the concerned subject. B.Sc. (Pure) and B.Sc. (Bio) require the candidate to have studied PCM and Biology respectively in 10+2. BCA candidates must pass 12th with Math/ Computer Application as a compulsory subject. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit.

Prospective candidates may fill the online application form by visiting the institute website. The application fee can be paid via online payment modes or via bank challan at any public bank. The application process is the same for all courses offered by Gangarampur College.

Gangarampur College Application Process 2023

All processes of Admission by Gangarampur College are done through online mode only. Candidate must deposit the admission fees online within the stipulated time span and bring the fees deposit receipt along with all relevant documents and other testimonials to the college for verification purpose. The detail application/ admission process is as follows:

  • Candidates may apply online by visiting the institute’s official website and filling the online application form. 
  • All requisite particulars mentioned in the application form must be filled correctly. Incomplete forms are not accepted for admission. 
  • Application fee of INR 130 (for Honors courses) INR 100 (for General courses) can be paid online via credit/ debit card, net-banking etc.
  • In the event that the application fee has been paid through demand draft/ bank challan, the details of the same must be entered while filling the online application form.
  • Candidate must take a printout of the complete application form, a copy of which must be brought at the time of counselling/ admission.
  • Candidates must bring self-attested photocopies and original copies of all relevant documents for counselling.

Attested copies of following documents must be submitted and original copies produced at the time of counselling/admission:

  • Downloaded application form
  • Student copy of the Bank Challan
  • H.S. Marksheet or its equivalent
  • M.P. Admit Card or its equivalent
  • School leaving Certificate
  • SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH Certificate, if applicable
  • One passport size photograph

Remarks:

Minimum 50% required in class 12 board exams. I found the application form on the college website. the application fee was 1990 for B.Sc (Zoology). The college website is very slow. so they improve on their website to give a better experience to the student's admission system.

Remarks:

You have to get 60 % in the HS exam to get a chance in this college. You can find the application form on the Google website. Reservation benefit availed on Result. I don't think it improves any admission process.

Remarks:

70% in board exams in class 12. I found the application form on the college website. fee 1990 date 31/08/2022. Online server problem sometimes occurs, so improve the online admission process. The college admission process is simple than the other college.

Remarks:

First of all, there is eligibility for admission you need to score greater than 75% If you are choosing science. You can Visit the college to collect the form of admission. There is lots of placement and there are nice teachers. Then need to start an online form for admission.

Remarks:

The eligibility for the course is 12th. We get the Application form from the college and the nearest cyber cafe. The application fee is 1520.00. The application date is 11.11.2022. Yes there is a reservation Benefits for St SC and OBC category. Yeah, there should be an entrance exam for admission.

Eligibility for this course is 12 th pass and higher rank. The application we take from the college. The application fee was two thousand rupees. The application date was 12/8/2022. Yes, I want improvement in the addmission process.

BA is a good course. BA is a tough course. To complete this course you need three years. The application form I was taken from the college. Application fees are 1520. i was fill up the application form on 12/11/2022.

Remarks:

Eligibility for this course is 12th pass. The application is form find to an online website, This application from the fee is only 50 rupees, and the application date I think 20/10/2022 something. Our college admission process is too good I didn't want improvement in this process.

Need average number. Have to pass out 12th examination. It will find on our college's official website. Yes, in this college reservation benefits are available. Yes, first we have to make an online admission and then it needs to be submitted. So in my opinion I didn't see the need.
